Wisconsin was 9-20 overall. Not impressed one bit. I have to say I am losing faith in this school's ability to run an athletics program. First the W Soccer hire, now this!

Not sure about this one, folks. Care to elaborate? I'm asking in all honesty because I don't know anything about her.

Her press conference was youtubed:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk5ljKJC11U&feature=youtu.be
She worked with Kate Peterson-Abiad, who is responsible for a significant improvement in Cleveland State's WBB program, and at the University of Dayton. She was brought to Madison to help Bobbie Kelsey rebuild the Badger women's BB program, so i don't put too much stock in the results of one season in Madison.
She might be exactly what the Panther program needs. She might fail. i'm content to wait and see how she does.
She needs to put together a staff. i wonder if any of Sandy's assistants will stay on.
She has some decent talent to work with. It will be interesting to see how the players respond to her coaching.

I know absolutely nothing about her. She may be a fantastic hire who single-handedly turns the women's program around. I hope so.
But...from an outsiders perspective, it is a bit concerning to see us playing second fiddle to Madison again.

But...from an outsiders perspective, it is a bit concerning to see us playing second fiddle to Madison again. We hired someone who worked at Madison for the last year, and played at Madison 10 years ago. In between she worked in Cleveland and Dayton. i have to assume she got hired largely on the basis of what she has done during those nine years.
i'm having trouble understanding why you would feel that this hire is an example of "playing second fiddle to Madison."

No, what are the red flags?
Most, if not all know anything about her.

No, what are the red flags? Most, if not all know anything about her. RED flags I'm so tired of all the negativity. We need to support our coaches. I've already ordered my "Rechlicz's Regiment" shirt!

i'm having trouble understanding why you would feel that this hire is an example of "playing second fiddle to Madison."
I really am an outsider to Women's BBall. I don't follow it, I have no opinion about Kyle Rechlicz at all. Like I said, she may be amazing and her resume may be a lot more than just an assistant at UW-Madison. In fact, I am willing to bet that this is true. I trust Mike Lovell - I think he knows what we need. But... For the general public, when Milwaukee hires Assistants from Madison, it has the APPEARANCE of us trying to "catch up" to Madison. That's what I meant.
