I thought I would make this its own thread since Stan was a great coach here and everyone liked him. But i regret to inform everyone, incase we didnt know already that Stan took the Assistant Coach position at Marquette. I know how much we will miss him here and I wish him good luck, even though it is Marquette

I figured that would happen, oh well.
On a brighter note, here's the final NSCAA top 25 poll:

Don't know a damn thing about soccer but...
Was Haidet not interested or Anderson not interested?
Simple question: Why wouldn't a top assistant want to take over a top 25 program? From what I hear Anderson is very capable.

Anderson will probably make more money as an assistant at Marquette, and he might have wanted to follow Bennett. Unfortunately, we don't really know if Haidet offered him the job. I don't care to be honest, the program will be just fine; there is plenty of coaching talent in the state of Wisconsin.

I'm not 100% positive on the truth, but Bud's explanation was that "Stan didn't show any interest".

Stan didn't show any interest? My bet is that if the AD got off his a** and cared a bit more he would have tried to lure a guy like him to stay. He was their 10 years. They could have had Stan AND Jon. UWM's fault, not Stan's for any 'lack of interest.' Of course he would have been interested.

Well, if we can't have Stan Anderson as our coach, Mike Tice may be an option if he gets fired by the Vikings. He looks and sounds a lot like Stan ;D

Unless Anderson told you that he wanted the job or something like that. Bud cares more about Panther athletics than anyone. He's done an incredible job of taking a run down sloppy department and turning every time into a winner. He deserves better than comments like that

Except for the god-awful tennis team. Zero facilities = zero talent

Then cut it to zero.
Drop it and pick up women's bowling for NCAA compliance. ;D The facilities are there.
