I love to engage in the whole theoretically-looking-forward thing a lot more than I should. But still, who's going to guard him as a senior? He could crush the league single-handedly next year. (And also this year)

James is a special player indeed. I'm glad to have him for another year. I don't know what's more endearing about James, his individual talents and effort, or his team mentality. He's truly a competitor....
WAR JAMES HAARSMA!!!!

I just like the thought of taking an all-league-level player in Tony Meier (when he's back to full-strength; it will likely take some time) and adding him to two other all-league-level players in Kaylon Williams and James Haarsma.

Kaylon needs to cut his turnovers substantially to be playing at an all league level.

We've all long known that Kaylon is too loose with the basketball, Fran.
Still, he's the team's most important player. With him off the floor in the second half Saturday, the team had a plus/minus ratio of -8. With him on the floor, it was +16.
Besides, who in the H League is a better pure floor general?

I don't disagree, it's just that turnovers by a point guard drive me crazy, and I think how much better he could be if he tightened that up. But there's no better distributor or tougher competitor at his position in the league -- that's for sure.

I don't think this is the last time he will receive this honor!
Congrats James!

James (is) one of the few players that has lived up to the hype. In spite of some early skepticism, I would say this has everything to do with his proven production at the mid-major Division 1 level. As for all the rest, you may resume your skepticism.

I still can't really believe the amount of people here who doubted him before the year started.
