FWIW,
On a tip from my MU fan maintenance guy I stopped at Boston Store at Grand Ave over lunch today and they have a few different UWM sweatshirts (and UW and MU, btw) on sale for $20, regularly $55. I believe the sale is today only. One crew, one hoodie that I saw. Stitched on lettering.
Unfortunately, at least for me, they bear the UWM over the wave logo, instead of the panther.
I can't bring myself to buy clothing with that logo but other than that, nice quality at a nice price. I wish the BS buyers would change their order next year, they'd at least sell me one.

It all comes to our diligence in making sure people use the right athletics marks - and make no mistake, those are meant to be athletics sweatshirts - I'm sure the UW ones have the Motion W or Bucky and the Marquette ones have the MU sports logo or the Golden Eagle head, right?
Perhaps our athletics department needs to contact the NCAA licensing group and let them know that Milwaukee and those marks are all they can license.

I don't even want to get into the drek of Milwaukee clothing I see at Scheels in Appleton.
FYI in the same store ... Green Bay has some sweet new Nike branded clothing out this year.

I'm usually on board with the branding arguments but guys, come on. I would still be pleased if Boston Store was carrying "Wisconsin-Milwaukee" sweatshirts. (By the way, our own bookstore carries multiple clothing items that say exactly that. I just took a leisurely walk through it last Friday.) The UWM logo over the wave may not be the preferred athletics logo, but it's a nice graphic and it gets the message across. I own a number of items with that logo.
When I go to a football game in Madison I see every possible variation of words and logos and slogans. It's all good. Same here.

When I go to a football game in Madison I see every possible variation of words and logos and slogans. It's all good. Same here. Obviously, personal taste figures in the equation. It looks fine on buildings and campus signs and stationary but I dislike the UWM wave (or whatever) logo just as much when I see it on sportswear at the bookstore. But at least there is another (much better) option available there. (Albeit at exorbitant price points) I would just say that we're not UW and there will never be "every possible variation of words and logos and slogans" for Milwaukee available across the retail/online spectrum, like UW or the Packers. So, when a retailer, such as Boston Store or Kohl's, decides to stock one or two items, I wish they would order the ones people might actually want to buy and therefore perpetuate the future stocking of UWM items. When I checked last year, Kohl's was no longer stocking UWM, only MU and UW. That's all.

I guess everyone has different taste in what they wear because I don't like the M.

You can't go wrong with the block MILWAUKEE but I don't think that necessarily constitutes a logo.

UWM's gear has always been hideous. It's really disappointing. To this day, I still can't find a UWM hoodie that I love. Sadly, I have several Marquette and Wisconsin ones.

Go to the bookstore if you haven't been there recently. I must have seen twenty varieties of hoodies there the other day, with selections from just about every maker. The selection is really pretty extensive.

bookstore.uwm.edu/home.aspxYou can check it out on their website and order it online too. If you don't like it, you have 2 weeks to send it back for a refund or can stop by whenever to exchange it for something else.

It's seems like the website had more hoodies 3 years ago as they do now, but the bookstore is great! If you can't find something you like, well, just fill in the blank.
As a season-ticket holder, you get a discount card for the bookstore. I think it 20% or 25% off. It comes with your tickets.
