Please show your support Wednesday Jan. 28th as one of your own Benjamin Goodhue debates against Mike D'Amato for the right to control the city's District 3. D'Amato wants to move off-campus student housing over into riverwest TO CUT DOWN ON PARTYING! He has called students-"secondary citizens." Stand up for the students and cheer on the debate. At the least go out and vote 6:30 Fireside Lounge Wed Jan 28th

I know this is a basketball board and this is not a bball topic, but if there is one thing that gets me going is that some people just don't get it. If you live near, on, next to, etc. a college campus you are going to have to deal with some student "issues" such as drinking, parking problems, noise, partying, etc. at times. The simple fact of the matter is that UWM did not just sprout and grow overnight. It is a well established school that has been on the east side for a LONG time. If you don't like it don't move into the neighborhood! There is much more that can be added to this position, but since this is a bball board, I dumbed it down for all of us althletic minded individuals.
