This.... buhoops.yuku.com/topic/7120/Raise-Your-Hand-if-You-Think... is the type of stuff that i hate. Butler fans piss me off. You have a good team, but we've proven we can beat you twice this year, why overlook us. I know it's not all butler fans, but to be that overconfident when these teams are so evenly matched is rediculous.

This talk by people that it's hard to beat a team three times a year is just bull sh*t. Butler beat the Panthers three times last year. There is a reason why the Panthers beat Butler twice this season. So why not make it three times.

Talk is cheap. I know one group that isn't overlooking Milwaukee --- the Butler coaching staff. They know their team does not match up well, they know they took a licking here already, and they're well aware of the atmosphere they'll be playing in.
Milwaukee has proven they can beat this team multiple ways. The three time argument is bogus, plain and simple.
I expect a tremendous game this Tuesday.

Let them be c***y. Did you see Tony Meier shooting last night? Such confidence as every ball left his hands every time and hit nothing but nylon. One of my guys I brought to the game asked me, "how come one of your big men is shooting technical free throws." The answer is ice water.
I've always praised Jeter for being an excellent recruiter (possibly the only thing I have praised him about in the past) , but now he has his team playing with supreme confidence, and it shows. A master motivator? I don't know, but I didn't see anyone out of the starting 5 and 6th man that didn't think they were the best player on the court while they were out there. Ja'Rob maybe played with a bit too much confidence, but this is a new experience for a lot of players, and I'm expecting big things from Ja'Rob on Tuesday.

I think the most telling thing about the team is last night at Major Goolsby's.
Anthony Hill walks in and the fans react like he's Tigert hitting the winning free throw. People walk up to him and say "congratulations!"
He smiles, but says "Not yet. One more."
I walked by the team to say hey after I finished eating, and they were talking about Shelvin Mack's tendencies. They aren't done. Not by a long shot.

Outside of a few c***y comments most of the comments are either praising of Milwaukee in some respect or mention Butler's weaknesses going into the game. Come on guys, let's not overreact ourselves.
Good thing the coaches and planes can isolate themselves from these fans boards. The sh1t is deep on both sides.
Can't wait for Tuesday (refer to my post inter squad scrimmage comments)

I would think the game will come down to the end. It should be a wild game.

I had my very own c***y episode with a Butler fan yesterday. It was one of those moments that seemed to be all in fun, but with a bit of a jabbing competitive edge to it. Lets finish this on Tuesday night Panthers....I've got the dagger ready!!!
I ordered 4 extra tickets today. Thanks Panther ticket office for handling ticket requests so I could avoid the service fee at ticketron service fee.

Oh, my "interaction" with the Butler fan started over another one of Matt Howard's famous flops.

Oh, my "interaction" with the Butler fan started over another one of Matt Howard's famous flops. Howard? Flop?? Really??? One of the great aspects of the win against Butler this year was the refs not buying any of Howard's theatrics. (Actually, there was one play last night when Hill had position and, because he simply stood his ground was bigger and stronger than the Loyola player who charged into him, and did not flop, he was called for a blocking foul. I always get a kick out that.)

How can they deny he flops?
There was an article in an Indy paper during the Final Four talking about it as an "art form".

One of the great aspects of the win against Butler this year was the refs not buying any of Howard's theatrics. Of course, the refs completely missed Howard blindsiding Anthony Hill after Ant beat him for ANOTHER rebound. Yup, the one where Ant was on the ground for over a minute. Matt Howard, when he gets frustrated, will act out. I want to see him throw a tantrum on Tuesday.
