Ok so as many of you know I am only a sophomore here at UWM so I'd like to ask those who attended UWM the last time we hosted the HLT.
Last year in the 1st round against UIC I got in free with my student I.D.
Will that be the case next Saturday or is there a pre order type deal for students?
Also if I do get in with my student ID do I get in free for the non Panther games too? Like the games next Friday or the other semifinal before our game on Saturday?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
I am STOKED for next Saturday! ;D

You should be able to buy reduced price $10 tickets, that's been the way it worked for each tournament Milwaukee has hosted so far.

in the HLT the ID is most likely not going to work, in the past you could buy an all session pass for like 15 bucks or something like that i think. It is a rule from the league office to charge for tickets.

Because this is the HL tourney I think students have to pay to get in.
PS Glad you're stoked. Get EVERYONE you know to come. You'd be surprised how many students who have said no all season long will want to be there for this.

If my memory serves, there will be a or something for students, that will include both games on that day. So a fee for Friday (which won't include UWM), and another fee on Saturday. Might be an all-session pass too.
But don't quote me. I would just keep checking back here and uwmpanthers.com for the info when they get it posted.

O so you only get into the student section free for the 1st round games like last year?
I hope UWM sends out an e-mail for this but I won't hold my breath.

Two things I remember when I was a student during those games:
1) Had to pay to get in
2) No beer
I was more upset about #2

Wait...why isn't there beer there again? Hasn't been for years... Horizon League treats it like an on-campus event.

Also remember, the student section shifts down near the Panthers' bench ... won't be on the north end, that's where the other team's "students" will be.

Wait...why isn't there beer there again? cuz the Horizon League is dumb, they say its because they don't want underage drinking but I dont know what the real reason is....

LeCrone made the decision single handedly to take away beer after the 2003 tournament in Milwaukee.
