Is YSU playing for anything significant? Well it is their last home game and therefore it is senior night. That along with the chance to knock off the 1st place team and maybe move up a spot in the HLT Bracket is something to play for. That being said we are playing for so much more. We MUST win! |

It's Not OverActual exchange with my girlfriend this morning: Sarah: Who do we play today? Jimmy: Youngstown State. Sarah: Didn't we beat them? Jimmy: Yeah, but it's at their place. They beat Butler a couple weeks ago. Sarah: Didn't we beat Butler twice? Jimmy: ...yeah. Sarah: So we should win. I love living in a world where girlfriends are completely unimpressed with Butler.

Because my cousin doesn't get married until 2:30, I will be running a live chat through PantherU. The link is on the main page, and brings up a pop-up window that looks exactly like the old events we do on Ning or the SID does on their game blogs.

My wife and I are in the northwoods, but we're heading into town with our laptop in a few minutes to find a quiet corner of a restaurant that has wi-fi boradband so we can watch the game (our limited access at the cabin we're at isn't nearly fast enough). I can already imagine what all the other patrons will be thinking to see these two weird old people staring at computer screens with headphones on and occasionally yelping and groaning! Let's just say the mothers will probably be warning their kids to stay away from us.  |
