From the Panthers' website:
"Anthony Hill continues to lead the Panthers in both scoring and rebounding after a 19-point, five-rebound effort at Buffalo Saturday. He played just 26 minutes after being banged up late in the game but is expected to be back in the lineup Thursday night."
The only info they had on Ryan Allen was that he sat out Saturday because of his injured back and apparently has an ankle injury also. I wasn't aware of the ankle injury, but let's hope we are fully stocked with our cortisone shots so that he's ready to go.

I heard from one of the players that Ant, Ryan and Kaylon all participated in practice, and Ryan took a little time out to get treatment for his bruise.

A modest proposal ....
How about starting Ryan Allen in place of Ja' Rob and assigning him to Norris Cole to prevent a fast start by the dynamic point guard?
The minutes wouldn't necessarily change and you could use Ja' Rob's scoring punch off the bench. He was mired in something of a shooting funk until the Buffalo game and this might slow things down for him a bit.
I think we badly missed Ryan's defensive presence on Zach Filzen and should put him to the best possible use, using him as a tempo-setter from the get-go.
Just a thought.

If any of you have a laptop with an HDMI output and a TV with an HDMI input, we have found we can get a fairly credible picture and sound displayed through our TV of the HLN webcast. It can be slightly jerky, but it's watchable. It's really the only video option if you don't have TWC.
