I will say that his reasons for leaving Delaware State are legitimate and we shouldn't hold that against him.

Like Ron Wolf late in the 1991 season, I expect Rick to be at every game.

Rick isn't scheduled to take over until February. I'm elated that he'll be there Monday, and hope to talk to him extensively soon.

I'm just surprised that he'd be able to leave the Rutgers job to come to our games before he takes the job in February. I had no expectation that he'd be here before then.
I'm really excited to get to talk to him for more than two seconds. I'll probably say hello and figure out a time I can pick his brain, and squeeze in an interview on PantherU.

He has a family, a home, and many obligations in New Jersey. He needs some time to get his affairs in order there before taking the reigns here. I don't think we can, or should, expect him to drop everything immediately to come to Milwaukee. |

Fair point. I would think he would be here quite often anyway, however, to look for a house and the lay of the land before he officially starts. If he's in town while there's a home game, he should be at the game. This program is at a crossroads and he needs to see exactly what's wrong here firsthand.
