Its a winnable game if we play well. SDSU has a good record, but they haven't really played anyone. Some may see this as a meaningless non-con game, but I think at this point, considering what has gone on recently, we need to show up and play well.
This is kind of a scary game, as SDSU has perimeter shooters, and that seems to be our weakness on defense.

It's also a road game, which makes me nervous. Aside from woeful shooting, our second half against Wisconsin was pretty nice, and I'd like to see us finally carry momentum over from one game to the other.

South Dakota State will probably be double digit favorites in this game. I'm hopeful, but surely not expecting a win...

"This is kind of a scary game."
Seriously, what game on the remaining schedule isn't?

Let's get back on track (and away from the Fire Rob Jeter thread).
The one good thing I see about all the increased (albeit negative) posting on the board in the past week or so (maverick even popped back in!) is that it's pretty clear we still have a lot fans who care and are just looking for some scapegoats (as someone else posted about a Lonnie Boga tweet- it is the team- you can call all the x's and o's you want, but if the team shoots 55% from the FT line and 30% from the field, you won't win games).
And I'm sure the same people calling "off with their heads" like the protesting Brits who attacked the royal motorcade recently) will be thrilled to see the team prove them wrong.
Gotta win games, and win those fans back.
PS: Anyone see the Iowa-Iowa State game last night? Calvin Godfrey looked pretty damn good (as did Iowa State's PG (Garret?)). I think Kyle Kelm could wind up being as good or better than Godfrey though.
GO PANTHERS!!!!

Milwaukee is a 10 point dog tonight per www.docsports.com/college-basketball-lines.html. This game means a lot in terms of stopping the bleeding and giving us momentum for DePaul , Bowling Green and the conference games... I really hope we can play (esp. SHOOT!!!) well. We can win games! It has actually happened (4x!) this season. lol.

All is quiet on the message boards tonight....
Am I the only one listening to the game tonight or what?? Panthers are doing a much better job of shooting the ball so far. Tony Meier has really been shooting the ball well lately. I missed the first few minutes of the game tonight, but I heard Ryan Allen's name pretty early on when I turned it on. Did he get the start tonight?
Another major issue continues for UWM though... turnovers.
