I noticed on the website that there will be Pounce bobbleheads given away at this game. If there is one thing I've learned, it's that we cheesers (for some reason) LOVE bobbleheads. These stupid little dolls get people in the stands for Brewers games, Bucks games & even Admirals games. I guarantee that if somehow word can get spread about this promotion via commercials, newspaper, etc... there would be a good turnout for people just to get a bobblehead.
It's a shame that I don't foresee any of those things happening. 95% of the sports fans in Milwaukee won't be going to UWM's website to be able to see this being promoted. I would hate to see a great promotion like this go to waste.
Does anyone know if there is a plan to get the word out about this?

Meh, people go for bobbleheads of sports figures they actually like. Pounce isn't really one of those. Hell, half the UWM alumni base wishes we still used Victor E. Panther.

Why not just have 2 mascots and use Victor E too? Our branding is already sh*t and the costume is hopefully paid off by now.

I think a Victor E. bobblehead would go over pretty well with the fans. Especially the season ticket holders.
I do like that we're starting to utilize more promotions, which is a direct result of Gilbert's surprisingly excellent leadership in the athletic department. It just should have maybe been a Joah Tucker bobblehead or a Jason McCoy bobble-body with wild leaping feature.

Actually there will be radio commercials promoting the Pounce bobblehead on at least 6 radio stations this week
ALSO-Bobbleheads will be given out at the Women's game Saturday at 2p
