We all know MU is coming to the US Cell this season. Do we really want the entire arena to be Gold/Yellow?
I'm calling for a BLACKOUT. The black road uni's and those Free Shirts we give away every year...well here ya go the giveaway for the night.
Now I know not many AD people read this board but I have already began to plant the idea in some coaches and VIP (Very Important Panthers)
What do you all think of the idea. I understand the arena might look empty because of the color black but, with all the MU Gold fans I think we should be okay.

I would not give out the shirts at the game thou.
Give the students black shirts as they are getting on the bus to go down there.
Advertise it around school. And also at the games leading up to the Marquette game.

I would give them out at the game. Either at the gate or laying on each seat. Give the alum/season ticket holders something. If there's any impartial fans, give them a reason to pull for Milwaukee. Of course, this depends on the sponsor being willing to put out the extra cash for the extra shirts.

How do you keep Marquette students from getting them, then having the shirt end up in the urinals or toilets?

What about giving away the black shirts at the table where students pick up their tickets? That'd be a good way to make sure at least our student section is donning the black.
I really hope the athletic department does a good job of promoting the hell out of this game... I will be ashamed if attendance in the student section is not fully packed.

Holic's been against the series from the start. I believe the reason is that it's a 4-for-1, right? That change is not too far in the future.

I'd expect something along the lines of when Madison came to town a few years back. We could definitely see a sellout. Official attendance was 10,017 and the student section was packed. Late students were in the aisles. It was pretty sweet. If only the game was close....

Giving the shirt to students at the table would work. Have to have a UWM student ID to get the shirt. I think you need it anyway to get in for free right?
