Anyone here watching The Basketball Tournament? Yes. Not as much in years past. The day games have made me miss too much action.

The Marquette team is loaded. Buzz could sure get players. I really like Joe Chapman's ability to coach the team.

My buddies and I had a great discussion last night about the all-time Marquette players and the best MU players to play in the NBA. Let's hear yours.

Kojis, Chones, Lucas, Ellis and Meminger the all time 5. No opinion on the NBA question. Of that 5, Kojis and Lucas obviously had stellar NBA careers. I think I mentioned last night that two of the most exciting moments I ever saw in person at the Arena were Dwight Clay's shot from the corner for Notre Dame to end MU's very long home winning streak, and Mo Lucas's turnaround shot after a loose ball scramble to beat John Powless's best UW team (and inspire Mr. Hughes's famous gesture). Ironically, in both cases I was cheering for the opposite result.

I caught parts of the semis and final of the TBT. The tournament looked good on TV under the circumstances and apparently was well managed within the bubble. It was nice to finally see relevant live team sports on TV. Congratulations to the MU alumni.

So, thoughts on the Elam ending. Would you like it in college basketball?
I enjoy it. Game ends on a made basket. No foul contest in the final minutes that last forever.
