Tremendous get. I like him so much better than Diamond Stone. I admit my view of Stone is skewed by the game Kenneth Lowe completely dominated him his sophomore year, but I have seen him several other times. The thing that stands out about Ellenson besides his talent is how tough minded he is and the consistently high motor he plays with.

Were you at that game?! So was I! I think that game was just an indication of how much Stone was raw and how much Lowe was a finished product.
Ellenson is going to be a cornerstone for the next 3-4 years in west town.

You think Ellenson will stay at Marquette that long? i'm not predicting one and done, because i've never seen him play, but getting to the NBA was mentioned as a big criterion in his decision. And it is becoming rarer for players to enter the NBA with four years of college experience. Depending on how finished a product he is, he might be judged and/or judge himself ready before his fourth year in college.

I agree with 'Heap.
Ellenson is the No. 4 prospect in the country.
He may be around for two years.

There were so many empty seats at the BC last night I thought a Bucks game had broken out.

There were so many empty seats at the BC last night I thought a Bucks game had broken out. Nope, 12,500! For NJIT! After a loss to Omaha! On a Monday night!

No, to be honest, it was about the worst attendance I have seen in years. Much closer to 1,200 than 12,000. The weather, opponent and recent loss no doubt contributed. It was terrible out last night. But the 12,500 season tickets still count.

But the 12,500 season tickets still count. Did MU really pre-sell 12,500 tickets for NJIT on a Monday night? Here's the failing of our ticket office: we're too honest with our attendance declarations.
