It's a must for the northwest schools to have Cal and Stanford.

Agreed. North division (Wash, WASU, Oregon, Or State, Berkeley, Stanford) and South Divison (UCLA, USC, Az, Az St, Utah, Colo). The Big Ten-lve went with the zipper format and it sucks.

I'm still pi**ed off about the Big Ten divisions. Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Northwestern would have been fine with me.

There's no way in hell Michigan and Michigan State would've signed off on that. Also I can't understand this "rivalry" w/ Michigan...primarily since they don't care about us. Conference-wise, we're third priority AT BEST.

Don't be surprised if Montana now joins the FBS in the WAC. I'm sure the WAC is actively pursuing the Grizzlies.

Let the Mountain West exodus resume. First, it was Utah. Then, BYU. Now, TCU apparently.
Boise State seems to be consistently running into tripwires in its efforts to gain respectability.

This is what I do know: any school that moved up conferences did so because of football; if we want to move up ever, it seems like we'll have to do the same. Or hope that Butler never wants to leave.

It would be one thing if they don't do well in the Big Sky, but they average something like 25,000 and compete for national titles every year.
If Boise State and TCU get shut out of the BCS championship game, I'm officially only giving a sh*t about NCAA D-I FCS.

If Auburn and Oregon go undefeated there is no way in hell TCU or Boise St should be in the National Championship game. The weekly grind in the SEC and Pac-10 is a hell of a lot harder to withstand than the WAC and MWC.
