I would argue that most of the "improvements" your speaking about were a product of more playing time and thus more oppertunity Rather than them becoming better players. I'll agree with paulsen and to a much lesser extent, franklin but everyone else.... I just don't know about that. I don't really have anything to say to your post, I just wanted to point out that maybe it's time your SN is changed to "franklinthepresent."

I agree with the peak and value theory someone spoke of earlier. We know Jeter can coach, he has strung together some winning streaks with poor teams in the past, he just needs to find a rhythm with this team.
I do think Jeter is poor at using the talent he has. IMO there have been multiple instances where he has left talent on the bench (IE Skinner) and didn't utilize it to its fullest extent, and this year is no different. Should Ajami be starting over Boga? Deonte is a 6th man too IMO and if ANT can keep playing good ball then start the dude.

Boy, that's really going to put butts in the seats. "We have a coach who hasn't done a whole lot, but he's going to be here for three more years until his contract expires. Come down to the Cell and watch our team!"

There are some good points here. We have seen some improvement from some players but not enough to put us in the elite of the HL. We have also seen some more talented players riding the pine.
The bottom line here is that this is RJ's fifth season. In that time we've gone from a Sweet Sixteen team to a team that can't seem to beat anyone with a winning record. Meanwhile UWGB has gone from a team that couldn't win an HL tourney game to one that can beat UW.
Opinions are fine but those are facts that are hard to ignore. RJ can still right the ship but when you see such a dramatic decline in a program while other schools are making big strides, it's hard not to be critical.
