wh ile it's a blast to remember the fun we've all had cheering for the Panthers, I don't think it does us a lot of good to start saying one person's a better fan than another.IMO this is a potentially divisive topic and there's no real way to say who's a better fan - those who have been to the most games? Those who paid the most for their tickets? Those who traveled the furthest? The person who's seen the most losses?
There are little kids at the games who have been to most of the games since they've been alive and old guys in plaid pants who need walkers and canes to get to their seats. I sure can't say who's a better fan.
I thought the "Cornet takes it up the Butler" signs were funny, but is that really the image we want our program to project? It's all very subjective.
Sorry to be a kill joy - just my thoughts.

Everyone is complementing each other for what they have brought to the program. This was a great happy discussion about fun memories so far.

No harm intended. Just a roll call and shout out to all the panther faithful. Everyone is Number one for backing this little team that could and all of these people from 93 to 2005 have created something out of nothing and made a real college hoops scene in the Mil.
It was more about identifying characters in the very large cast of UWM rowdies and just having fun with it.
More stories tomorrow night I'm sure
I hope these guys post pics, I'm 3000 miles away from UWM

Milton, a legendary panther fan should definitely be in consideration. His Braveheartesque drunken speeches to the student section were vital to the growth of panther athletics.
Also, John Jay has been a strong supporter of ALL uwm sports. Another panther legend.
Later, UWMfreak

Def. Milton, Those speeches were great! I'd Have to go with Harker, where would we be without the big guy! I can remember a game at the Klotsche, we were going for a jumping chest bump, let's just say he got the best of it, not a good idea to do when you are drunk! Harker with his infamous call "I highly disagree with that call sir!!!!!"

Milton Knauer's coon skin cap, calling a large man Ruben Studdard on Mifflin Street and running.
Whoever organized the stomping a hole in Loyola's bleachers
Craig Mckovicka Crowd surfing
and of course Devin Kack. No one was better. No one will ever be better. [period]

Good one, Hack.........JohnJay is on another level......he is the epitome of a true "Panther" fan. It doesn't matter if it is men's basketball or womens cross country he is there, taking pictures and generally supporting Panther athletics. He is definitely on the short list of fans that bleed black and yellow.
