He's a talented kid but he's years, if ever, from being a great player. If he was a great player others would have been legitimately interested in him. He was not highly recruited. That doesn't make him any different than guys like JJ Panoske or Evan Richard, of course.

I don't know how he is in the classroom, if that is holding him back. I thought Wisconsin and Marquette would've been on him 3 years ago. I think he will have a nice 4 years at CSU, as will JJ and Evan at UWM.

bbfran i'm from the cleveland state board, and just wanted to say you failed to do your home work on Lomomba. first off he's a three star recruit by all three major recruiting sites, secondly he was recruited by Washington State,Cincinatti,New Mexico St.,UCLA,Nevada,West Virginia,Xavier,Baylor and Indiana St. Last i checked that was bein pretty heavily recruited by mostly high majors i might add. JJ and Evan may turn out be good players, maybe even all Horizon, who knows but were not as highly touted as Junior. just sayin get your facts straight before u make a statement like that.

Don't believe everything you read on recruiting sites, ede. Good luck to the kid on a good career at CSU.

One good point is that there are some players that so exaggerate the schools that offer them,Big D pointed that out to me a while back, but based on a lot of checking on the three main sites and the smaller ones,it seems this kid is the real deal. praise was reeped upon him from the international basketball as well, but as always it'll all be settled on the court, and your right the sites don't always get it right. Norris Cole wasn't recruited by single D1 school and he went in the first around to the NBA. Cleveland State offered and Wright State had some interest. Goodluck to JJ and Evan as well except when your panthers play Cleveland State of course. ;D

It looks like one team is really enjoying the lack of NBA competition at the gate...

Eugene McCormick article: www.clevelandleader.com/node/17900He does start off oru section by refering to us as Milwaukee and goes on to refer to us as UMW. Take away the W and UM (University of Milwaukee) isn't that bad. I prefer it over MU since that is already taken by Marquette.

"(Detroit) still has NBA-caliber point guard Ray McCallum."
Apart from his free-throw percentage (and associated scoring average), Kaylon's numbers are better.

Did McCormick dictate that article into Google Voice? Yuck.

Did McCormick dictate that article into Google Voice? Yuck. Elsewhere, standards are lower than the UWM Post.
