Great analysis... thanks...kind of making the comment for effect on the challenging nature at least on paper.. not easy to strike balance between preparing for the conference with challenging games and digging a hole where team gets down because it is losing more than winning.. we will be better no doubt but no one can excuse us of scheduling cupcakes

Charlie was a decent guard with great potential before ripping up his knee. He clearly tried hard to come back to his previous level and move beyond it. It's sad that he wasn't able to succeed.
That, our thanks and a our hope for the best in the future for him is all that needs to be said.

The only "constant" year to year in college athletics is the coach. Players come and go, but if you're head coach is the face of the program...its probably a pretty successful program year after year.

The reports are that the kids are having a good summer. A few nuggets: Tony has put on weight and muscle and has been playing really well. Kamp has gotten even stronger. Michael Tyler can play. Ricky is playing very well. James is back on the court. Ja'Rob and Lonnie are good freshmen, and Jerard will earn court time.
Good times ahead, health permitting. There's a lot of optimism.

Thanks for the update. Butler is going to be so tough...but maybe we can surprise a few people.

Well, let's look at our schedule...let's look at theirs and other teams in the conference...maybe, just maybe, this might be the year we get more than one at-large team in the dance based on merit, not just the heavy favorite losing in the conference title game.
