One Player Missing

I have it from a very good source that one player on the team is no longer. The player, who I will not name (that mistake has been made on this board previously) was either kicked off the team, or elected to quit. He turned in his things Monday, and did not make the trip to Madison. The source told me that it might not be for good, but the player, for now, is definitely off the team.

I'm trying to get to the bottom of this, but everyone, please refrain from using names here until we have concrete evidence that this has happened.

I trust my source, who told me this on Monday night. I will not name the source, but trust me, my belief in what he said multiplied exponentially when the player in reference was not at the game.

Please, if you know who it is, do not use his name until we have the kind of evidence that merits posting on the board.

I've got a guess, but also a question...if this mystery player wasn't with the team in Madison...isn't it ok to reveal who it is?

Kind of my point too. If you really want us all to know that you have access to people within the program...just say that!

Like I said, I have a guess...I was there last night. We'd better wait until Black Panther gets the "ok" from his source though.

Well what's the guess, if a guy wasn't on the bench, regardless for what the reason was, wouldn't it be fair game to discuss?

That really only leaves 7 possibilities and 4 are walkons 2 are transfers and 1 is a scholarship player...I'm going to guess it was a walk-on...for whatever reason i doubt he was a freshman.

Everybody needs to lighten up a little bit. I don't think Black Panther was trying to brag that he knew something that we didn't, and I think it is a bit immature to be upset with him for not telling what he knows, just because you want to know the gossip. Yea, it sucks when someone posts just a teaser like that, but imagine if you weren't a member of the board. You would have no idea what is going on. I think he said just what he needed to say without saying too much. It's not really his place to name drop and I think i've figured out exactly who the player is. Relax guys, we aren't enemies here...we share a common interest. This goes for a lot of different threads and topics lately....get a grip people
