The next time I get to MTP in time to get a booth will be the first time. The food is good, but be prepared to wait awhile. Service was pretty slow last year.

mcblazer, if you like mexican food, any cabbie in town should be able to get you to La Fuente or La Perla, both located near 6th and National - several good restaurants are located there, but don't wander off the beaten path for food in the day and something to do, you may want to check out the Milwaukee Public Market - www.milwaukeepublicmarket.org/also, there are several spots downtown that get good reviews for their Sunday brunch, including The Wicked Hop, and others whose names escape me right now.

mcblazer, didn't want to leave you hanging on the places for Sunday brunch - here's a link to an online guide with addresses and further info - www.onmilwaukee.com/dining/articles/brunches.htmlalso, please post if you're a coffee fan and we can try to find a close good spot. There are a couple of local coffee roasters and some pretty nice local spots. The Alterra Pumphouse is a nice walk along the lakefront from downtown if you and the rest of your party are a little ambitious on Saturday morning and if the weather is decent. The convention and visitor's bureau also has "downtown ambassadors" in uniforms out on the streets of downtown to help folks find their way around. These folks are usually pretty friendly and might be able to help you out.
