I understand how it's designed, and It's not that poor of an example considering the the number of patrons it holds. The capacity is very comparable.

I can buy into the Horizon league capacity thing, but I find it very hard to believe many games would have had a hard time fitting in the Klotsche. And smaller venues do not signal a weak program, that's just irrational. How would you explain a program like Gonzaga then? We averaged 5,300 fans a game last year. That's 1,300 more than the Klotsche Center can hold. We need that extra revenue.

Season ticket holders would rather be downtown than in a big highschool gym. They're trying to increase ticket sales not limit it. Plus, while the Klostche looks like a gym on T.V., the Cell looks like an arena (a valuable recruiting tool)
