I sent an email to the guy that wrote that article. He is actually a Milwaukee grad. So, I apologized for some of my words to him.
We each expressed our sickness for the MU love around this area.
In the end he said he would be talking to Jeter again Monday (today) to find out if he has seen the alleged offer from Stink-ette yet.
He said to stay tuned as he will be following up on his article. I assume that is if Jeter gives him anymore news worth reporting.

So the Milwaukee grad (Rosiak) is sick of the "MU love" and the Marquette grad (Roquemore) is sick of the "UWM complaining"?  Seems to me to be a reflection of the exasperation of this issue. The JS has vastly over-reported this issue (witness today's "breaking news" that UWM received the offer) and it's best for Panthers and Badgers fans if it just dies out. The ball is firmly in Haidet's/Jeter's court with this offer. Either they accept or don't accept and we can all move along in life. |

His post makes the case for us against this deal. Accept it and we are viewed as "basketball prostitutes" with no chance of competing against the big guys. I'm fine with you not accepting it, no big deal to us. We'll just retire the 35-0 record and be done with it. By the way, that was a link to an article from Syracuse and I posted it so you would understand this isn't just coming from me or other MU fans, it's the way of life for many BCS schools. If you guys think you are all that, and you clearly do, then don't sign the contract. Simple as that....and don't b**** about not playing us either. You've been offered 5 games and you have an opportunity. Either sign and play it or don't sign it and move on. It's not that hard fellas, it really isn't. The world will continue to spin on it's axis I have no doubt.  |

Rosiak said he's sick of the MU love in Milwaukee? Now that is funny....it sure as hell isn't coming from that fishwrap. Now, BADger love....then he has a point. I think no one was arrested at UW-Madison this week in their athletic department. Things are improving over there I see. |

And be careful with the name calling, you do know that a ton of high up people read this board, the biggest names in Milwaukee sports. The couple I have met read both UWM and MU's boards. |
