Dave does not have the "syndrome," but many of its characteristics.

I worked in Klotsche when I was a student many years ago and I'd see him in there too. I'm pretty tall at 6'4" and used to b**** when staying in hotels where the showerhead was about shoulder high. Then I saw how that affected him in the Klotsche showers (uh, no, not a hobby of mine....) and stopped my complaining.

I'd also played Vball against him in the Sandburg outdoor courts....damn that wingspan of his!!!
