Round of 32, assuming we get to the NCAA tourney. I think if we make it in, we'll have enough momentum to knock a team off in the first round.
I'd like to see us get back to the Sweet 16 again but I'd be happy with a win in the first round.

I'd really would be surprised if they did not win the conference championshp to get to the tourny. Should be able to win one depending on the draw really will be the key. Sweet sixteen is possible only if we shoot the lights out like they have only a few times this year.
But to make it 3 of 4 and back-to-back is solid in my mind.

If we host the Horizon, I'm guessing a 13 seed that loses first round. (remember the committee takes your last ten games into consideration)
If Butler hosts, I don't see us beating them there given our current situation. We should be able to make some noise in the NIT however.

T Given how last night's win was a real boost, and also taking into account how we almost pulled out a win in Hinkle, I say even if we have to play Butler at home we beat em.

Hinkle's going to be an absolute madhouse for the conference tourney when Butler's there. It'll be a completely different place to play, and I'm not 100% sold on the fact that AT will be 100% or non-rusty come tourney time.
I think we're capable of beating Butler there, I'm just not putting my money on it. I hope the scenario doesn't play out, (we host the tourney) and if it does play out I hope I'm proven wrong.

The other problem is that if the tourney is in Indy and we play Butler on Tuesday night in the final, effectively that's going to be another "senior" night for the Dogs.
All I can say is if we win the HT in Indy, we are really going to earn it.

I hate to be pessimistic, but I'm predicting a trip to the NIT.

With how big the drop off is after a certain # of teams, I think a 13 could most definitely beat a 4 this year. Basketball teams have been dropping a lot of games against many worse teams, and the chance for upsets is a lot greater than last year, when UWM and Bucknell were cinderellas.
