Someone said AT is OUT for the game tomorrow.
I believe it, but where did that news come from?
Didn't see any thing on JS Online about it. (That doesn't surprise me though.)

UWM's Tigert won't play against Missouri State By BOBBI ROQUEMORE broquemore@journalsentinel.com Posted: Feb. 17, 2006 Senior forward Adrian Tigert will not play today against Missouri State and is doubtful for the regular-season finale Tuesday against Detroit, UW-Milwaukee assistant athletic trainer Dave Beine said Friday. However, Panthers coach Rob Jeter was not ready Friday evening to declare publicly that Tigert was indeed out, still calling his availability a "game-time decision." Jeter said told a reporter that he did not plan on speaking to the training staff until today about the availability of Tigert, who did not practice Friday. "If that's what the trainers told you, then they didn't tell that to me yet because I haven't asked them because I'm not going to talk to those guys or ask them if he's ready to go until tomorrow," Jeter said. Tigert severely injured his lower back last Saturday at Cleveland State but was back in the starting lineup Wednesday in the Panthers' 94-86 overtime loss to Illinois-Chicago. However, he had limited mobility in the post and wound up playing just 17 minutes. In declaring Tigert out for Saturday and no better than doubtful for Tuesday, Beine said the emphasis was on making sure Tigert is as close to full strength as possible by the Horizon League tournament. With Wright State's loss to Cleveland State on Wednesday, UWM clinched a berth in the semifinals on March 4. "We might be focusing more so on getting him ready for the conference tournament," Beine said. In the event Tigert does not start, Jeter said he had not considered who his replacement would be. "I don't know who's going to start, but I've got options," Jeter said. "I know with the guys that I put out there, I've got guys ready." www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=402504

That hurts.

Yes it does, big time.
I wonder why Jeter hasn't been monitoring the situation more closely. You'd think he'd have know about it before the JS.

Tigert said on Saturday that he is definately out til Tourney time...hopefully ready for the tourney.
In other news, ran into Ed, Dylan, and Mielke as we staggered into Bdubs at 2am on Saturday night. I think Rob Sanders may have been on there too. Also ran into Jeter at Baker's Square this morning with his dad. OH man if I only had my pen and paper for autographs all around!

BTW, there are some serious journalistic problems with this story on Adrian. See if you can find what they are.

• Injury Updates
UWM has a pair of players on the injury report heading into Tuesday's game with the Detroit Titans. Senior Adrian Tigert is questionable after taking a hard fall in last Saturday's win over Cleveland State. He played 17 minutes against UIC Wednesday and then sat out Saturday's loss to Missouri State. Meanwhile, junior Kevin Massiah is likely out for Tuesday's game after straining a leg muscle during last Saturday's game in Cleveland. He did not play Wednesday against UIC or Saturday against Missouri State.

it's pure speculation on my part... but no way does AT sit with the conference title on the line along with what looks to be his last chance to play at the cell. there's plenty of time to rest between tomorrow's game and the semi's.

I have this gut feeling AT will play. The guy is a competitor and you know it killed him not being out there Saturday. If he can go with out hurting the team or by being to tenative and hurting himself I think he plays. But if he goes and looks like he did against UIC Jeter needs to get him out and get him out fast.
This team does not control their own fate any more so no reason to risk his availability for the conf. tourny at this point.

Not to mention that after Tuesdays game we will have off till the 4th of March which is a week and a half after Tuesday. That should be plenty of time for him to heal up.

If Tigert has any issue at all it would be extremely foolish to play him before the HT.
