We took a huge step to hosting the tourney by winning our last conference road game of the year....We play host to two difficult teams at home but I think we will be fine
Butler also helped us out by losing in double OT
That was huge
If the tourney comes to the cell this year we need to be loud and really support this team more so than in years past...We need to truly be the 6th man cause no team is going to lie down for us...The target is on our back and we need to get fired up for whoever we play

I think the cell will be sold out for both games UWM plays in the conference tourny not just the championship game like last year. It will be rocking.

It was NOT sold out last year for the Detroit game for the title...It was very close but it was NOT sold out
It was sold out the previous two times we played in the title against UIC and Butler though
I doubt if it will be sold out of the semis as we will probably get a lower seed we play that game but I do believe it will be sold out for the title game this year..We will need all the support we can get

Hack...That was the announced attendance...I was there, I know it was NOT sold out...You can show article after article but I know that there were seats up top NOT filled like in previous years...Also several seats near where I was sitting were also empty
Announced attendance and actual attendance has alot of variability often times

Because students who bought tickets at the last minute had tickets assigned up in the corners. However, they wanted to be in the student section and went to stand down there .... that's why it was more than a little crowded down there. Levar will tell you the same thing. If anything, the 2003 championship game wasn't a complete sellout (which I don't think it was).

Announced attendance and actual attendance has alot of variability often times Announced attendance is all that matters! If it is announced as a sellout, than they sold every seat in the arena and got money for every single seat! It doesn't matter how many seats are empty; they still got money for all those seats!!

you're right in saying that last year was probably the first actual sell-out, but it is like when the brewers draw 40,000+ they say that was a sell-out crowd as well. if your are with in a 1,000-1,500 of your cap. then it is usually quoted as a sell-out, unless you use the MU attendance tracking....sorry i had to it was set-up perfectly

Thanks for the link, Hack. I think some pressure needs to be exerted by both the Athletic Dept and UWM fans on the WI Center District this offseason regarding this issue. "Floor panel concerns"?!? Come'on, that's complete BS right there. And how could it possibly have any effect on advertising deals? Do the "Horizon League" logos that are on the court not have an effect then? Please. This is a part of home court advantage IMO, and it needs to get done.
