OK, I've gone through and made some tweaks to the site ... some visable and some not so visable.- One thing you will notice is the new ranking system for number of posts ... Here's the breakdown so far: 0 posts - Kenny Parker Club 100 - Ronnie Jones Club 250 - Pat McCabe Club (was tempted to put this at 0) 500 - Shannon Smith Club 750 - Chad Angeli Club 1000 - Von McDade Club 1250 - Dylan Page Club ... after that, well you have to get up to that point to find out - The calendar has been updated for the rest of the season. Clicking on each event will give you the location, time and what channel it's on ... if applicable. - Changed the image at the top ... probably going to have this always be a horizontal picture so that the header isn't taking up your entire computer screen. Maybe we can get a photoshoped image up there soon (like the one we had last year ... fenske, you out there? ) - Changed the little icon below the Forum Statistics. - Updated and added more to the News scroll at the top. Now let's open it up for suggestions and thoughts:- What do you think of the greyscale Panther head in the background? Too busy or is it OK? - Do we want to trim back on the number of forums? If so, which ones get the axe? - I don't think I will be conducting polls like we had at the bottom of the page in the past. I'd rather have polls within the forums ... that way we can also comment on them. Thoughts? - I tried out some other color schemes but wasn't liking any of them ... everyone happy with what we have? What I have noticed and think
+the background is a little busy
+more info on the news fader. +You deserve this!!!
+Your blogs should have a link on the news fader (let me know if you wanna know how to do that). +I suggest playing around with the colors a little.

The background works for sure. Good job on the updates as well. I like the idea of the polls in the actual forums and I don't think we should really lose any of the forums as of yet.
There should be a more visible link to the bomb panther blog!

I am out here... I have been starting on a little something for a second (and possibly third) desktop wallpaper. I will also look at something for the top of the page.
I think the tiled panther background it too busy.... but, I have a strong dislike of any tiled background.

glad to see you finally became an officer, u definitely earned it. i like the wallpaper. perhaps for those new(er) to the board u could create a links page that gives a brief bio of the players who are named for these clubs. that way people can learn about important players from the past as well.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the panther background. I've never really been a fan of tiled backgrounds (always thought they looked unprofessional), but it doesn't look horrible on here. I'm just happy to see some work being done. Keep rolling with the improvements Hack, and thanks for the effort.

My sentiments. I hate tiled backgrounds too for the same reasons ... but somehow this doesn't bother me as much. I'm torn.

HACK, job well done....i was pretty impressed when i logged on and noticed the picture from like 4 games ago was gone.....i like the background..sure it is alittle busy but what else can you put there...it looks alot better then all black that we had....one recommendation that i did like and miss is the player interviews....i think it would be cool if someone could set something up like that again....i really like hearing from the players what is going on.....maybe we could have something where members can post questions and eventually that list could be combined and players could look at those questions and answer them.....

Aspire to be a member of the Von McDade Club? A Milwaukee product Von played only one year for the Panthers, 1990-91, after two years at Iowa Lakes JC and one year at Oklahoma State. The 6'4" guard made the most out of his one year. McDade averaged 29.6 ppg, third best in the nation, and finished fourth in the nation in steals at 3.5 pg and fourth in the nation in three pointers 3.4 pg. Von dropped in 50 at Illinois and 38 against Utah. He was named the state's Player of the Year by the Milwaukee Journal, finished runner up for national independent Player of the Year, and was named All-Region by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. McDade led the Panthers to an 18 - 10 record and finished his career with 14 Panther records. McDade was drafted in the second round (53rd overall) by the New Jersey Nets but never stuck in the NBA. (I vividly recall watching the draft on TBS and hearing Doug Collins proclaim to his son Chris that he could go to bed now that his favorite player was drafted. Doug Collins also joked that Von was open the minute he walked off of the team bus.) Like many Milwaukee kids Von McDade helped put the UWM Panthers on the college basketball map.

Personally, I hate the background and all tiled backgrounds.
Çan't (I'm in Brazil and they have cool accent things for their Ç's that I really like) speak to the removal of boards since I really only frequent the men's games, recruiting, and other topics.
Colors = good.
I want to remain in Pat McCabe's club (once I get to 250) even if I go over 500 posts because it reminds me of the horrible jackets Antrim used to wear and I love 3 point shooters from TX. No Craig Greene club?
The team apparently plays well while I'm in Rio. I may take one for the team and stay here for the remainder of the season.
