Who all here in this board was planning on getting season tickets?? Now, with Pearl leaving(most likely), are you still going to get those season tix??

I'm a season ticket holder also. I am a UWM fan, I cheer for the jersey, not the coach!!!

You'd be crazy not to. Bruce Pearl is a great coach but its not like there are no others. I seriously doubt that any players will leave - most of them have already redshirted or transferred once already. Look at SIU, they lose Weber, they get Painter. They lose Painter, they still have a great season under Lowry.

i didn't buy my season tickets to watch BP coach, i bought them to watch MILWAUKEE BASKETBALL. i'll keep buying my tickets as long as i have the time and desire to keep watching UWM bball.

as for players leaving, childress is really the main concern as he'll be a true freshman. the transfers aren't going anywhere. the other issue is the last scholarship offer available. we need to have a good coach in place to make the offer as attractive as possible.

I agree with Hack. What kind of fans wouldn't still go to the games?? Besides coaches coming and leaving, players also graduate. If alot of the fans based their support on who was on the team or who was coaching no sports team would have any kind of a fan base. Fair-weather fans...

I have no doubt that our program will be even better next year. We just need another coach that can sell the program to the public. Even with Bruce there was no promise that our crowds would drastically improve.

Last time I checked, Pearl was not giving us a Popeye's Chicken Dunk with Attitude. That would be Joah, Boo, McCoy and Co. I'm not giving up my season tickets..no way. This could work out for us in the long run. Monson jumped from Gonzaga to MN after their elite 8 appearance and look where they have gone from there with Few, a frickin #3 seed..

The coach means sh*t for the most part. The last few yars have been mostly due to the players if you think about it. Now, Pearl had a huge part in that but UWM is on its way. If we can continue to play at this level, attract good talent, get another good coach, we have nothing to worry about.
P.S. I'm considering moving back to Milwaukee to become a season ticket holder, well for another job as well but I miss going to my UWM games, Pearl or no Pearl.

Anyone know how much the lower midcourt area for the 200 level would be for season tix?
Also, what is the earliest I can buy season tix?
