I know UWM is close with Fletcher...just not sure they want to pull the trigger though.
I would rather UWM get a high school kid and stay away from all the JUCO guys.

If they don't pull the trigger on Fletcher they'll be regretting it every time they see him playing for UWGB. The coaching staff can't forget that local kids will help sell this program locally. I'd hate to see them take a JUCO kid over a local kid - just like we took Ricardo Freeman only to have Brandon Morris call the very next day wanting to come to UWM. We all know how that one played out. GET FLETCHER!! GO PANTHERS - 4,000 would be a great number Wednesday.

If this kid is ranked as the 25th best PG in the nation by that site then that would be amazing to have him in uniform next year!!! Has anyone seen him play or know anything more about him? Are grades an issue because that scouting site mentioned a few things about his grades?

The Indiana High School Boys will anounce their All-State teams tomorrow. Although I do not follow basketball that close in the state of Indiana, from all the articles I read, I would be upset if Passley didn't make first or second team. How great would that be if he made first team!! I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

The Associated Press released their all-state team for Indiana and Passley was named 3rd team. Passley's teammate A.J. Ratliff was named first team. A.J. Graves, a Butler recruit, was first team also. Graves scored over 2,000 points in his career. www.indystar.com/articles/3/133910-5613-042.htmlIt will be interesting to see what the Buter board says about this player. Congrats once again to Anthony!!

Unselfishness pays for Ratliff North Central guard puts up big numbers with few shots; coach of Flashes recognized. By Pat McKee The way Doug Mitchell looks at things, A.J. Ratliff is at the head of his class. Regardless of how he is measured, the guard stands above the area's best boys basketball players, Mitchell said. And that explains why Ratliff, a North Central High School senior, was chosen as Player of the Year for the 2004 All-Marion County Team as selected by The Indianapolis Star. The 6-2 Ratliff, who will play next season at Indiana University, is joined on the honor unit by teammate Anthony Passley, Pike senior Courtney Lee, Lawrence North sophomore Greg Oden and Perry Meridian senior Brandon Ray. The team was determined by a vote of County coaches www.indystar.com/articles/3/134217-1133-042.html

Anthony Passley was on campus the other day. I would guess he was probably here to visit with an advisor. Hopefully he will come this summer to get a head start by playing some summer hoops with the boys. I look forward to seeing Passley in the black and gold for the next 4 years!!

Congrats to Passley who will be playing in the Indiana-Kentucky all-star game. Graves, Duany continue tradition Each follows 2 brothers as members of the Indianapolis Star Indiana All-Stars. By Mark Ambrogi mark.ambrogi@indystar.com April 25, 2004 Since The Indianapolis Star Indiana All-Stars boys basketball team made its debut in 1939, there have been lots of family ties, as a player followed his father or an older brother as a member of the team. But three brothers earning that distinction is believed to be unprecedented. That will change in June when two families complete the triple play. White River Valley's A.J. Graves and Bloomington North's Bil Duany each will continue their family's tradition by playing against Kentucky in the annual All-Star games, set for June 19 in Owensboro, Ky., and June 26 at Conseco Fieldhouse. Matthew Graves was an All-Star in 1993, followed by brother Andrew in 1996. www.indystar.com/articles/9/141131-1489-036.html

2004 Indiana-Kentucky All-Star guide The Indiana-Kentucky boys and girls All-Star games pit the best high school basketball players from the two states. Here's a guide to all things All-Star: Event facts What: Indiana-Kentucky boys and girls All-Star series Game day 1: June 19, Owensboro, Ky. Game day 2: June 26, Indianapolis, Ind. Tickets: (Ind.) $12, $16, $18; (Ky.) $14, $22. Available: Conseco Fieldhouse box office, Ticketmaster. www.indystar.com/articles/9/149909-4729-114.html4. Anthony Passley Ironically, Anthony had the best game of his career against Mason County (KY) at Hinkle Fieldhouse earlier this year when he scored 36 points for North Central (Indianapolis) High School, enabling his team to end Mason County's 29-game winning streak, 92-75, despite 29 points by Kentucky Mr. Basketball Chris Lofton and fellow All-Star teammate Jarrod Litzinger's 11 points. He earned all-conference honors three years and was all-state first team this year, averaging 18.4 ppg and 8 rpg for Coach Doug Mitchell. The 6-4 forward excels in track and field, too, winning the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference high jump title. His best subject is math, and he will continue his education at the U. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He'll major in education and hopes to teach or "take basketball as far as I can." His sports hero is Muhammad Ali. His favorite activity is being around people. His parents are Sheila and LaRoy. www.indystar.com/articles/6/148136-4356-114.htmlIt's nice to see that Passley has some ups by winning the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference high jump title. I can't wait to see him in a Panther's Uniform
