Not a must win tonight (save those for the conference tourney) but an important game. Losing streaks can snowball and four in a row isn't good for anyone.
Just looking for a solid effort tonight: our best players play like it, make free throws, and shoot a decent % from the field would be great. Some solid D wouldn't hurt either.
Good luck Panthers.

i'd hesitate to call it a must win as well. there's no doubt though that this would be an important win. if we'll have any chance of being an at-large we need to win this, along with our other NC games. unfortunately the Air Force and St. Louis wins aren't looking as good as originally hoped so a win over a quality team like Manhattan would help. it's certainly too early to think at large, but we need this to even have that be a remote possibility should we not win the conference tourney.
go panthers!

I've been listening to the Manhattan broadcast from the website above since around the beginning of the game. It comes in very clear...just have to listen to their announcers with the thick NY accents.
We're down by 5 right now with 15:00 left in the game. We have had one lead: 2-0 and shot very bad in the 1st half ala Wisconsin game James Wright has 9 points right now Pancratz seems to be playing a lot The announcers said that the refs are all from the Horizon League.

It's 35-34 now...we're down by only 1. I forgot to mention that on the radio broadcast you can hear a good amount of cheering when the Panthers do good. I know that a plane trip was offered, so there must have been a fair amount of takers or the UWM fans are right by the announcers.

There's a little under 10 minutes and the Jaspers already have 3 of their very good players with 4 fouls...and UWM down by 2 points.
The announcers are questioning the referees. Maybe we borrowed the referees from the Valpo game!

We're shooting really good from the line...Hill just missed one, so I think were 17-21 now and were in the double bonus for the next 7 minutes! It's looking good with one of the Jaspers players who already had 8 points fouling out with about 8 minutes left. Hopefully the guys can take advantage.

Just another update if you can't get the audio. We're up by 4 right now I believe with about 6 mins to go. Boo Davis has just reached a career high with 18 points and he's his a couple very big 3's. The key to winning now will be to not let the Jaspers back in the game and continuing to make our free throws for the rest of the game.
