The Panthers must: a. Cause Banks discomfort. Look for McCants to get the bulk of the defensive assignment on Banks. He's so hot now, you can't allow him a crack. b.Box out, especially early. They get momentum on the offensive glass. If the Panthers box out effectively, Williams will be rendered useless. c.Jump out early. More than ANY other team in the HL, these guys will quit if they fall too far behind. They also have a tendancy to turn on each other. Get Bailey's emotion headed downhill, and it's over.
I think they can win, but it won't be easy.

I'll be hoping for a win from you guys tonight -- UIC is making me nervous for WSU's conference standing down the home stretch! But, after tonight's game, I'll be hoping you lose Saturday against the Raiders. I'm not sure what kind of chance WSU will have against you guys on the road, but I'm sure they'll be prepared. The freshmen are playing with lots of confidence these days -- I just hope the team handles your defensive pressure better this time around.
Go Raiders!

Thanks for the well-wishes NCATProf! ;D I think that the first few minutes of this game will dictate how the rest goes........if the "good" UIC team shows up (the one that plays up to its potential), it will be a struggle for UWM IMO. I still think that we have a good shot at winning, but it will be a battle to the end. However, if the "bad" UIC teams come out to play (the underachieving one), I think that UWM hands it to them. Apparently Vegas thinks the "good" UIC team will show up........UIC is favored by anywhere from 2.5 to 3.0 points and interestingly enough, GB is only favored by 4.0 to 5.0 over CSU That is a SAFE bet if you ask me! There is no way, IMO, that they won't cover that spread.

Its gonna be a tough game tonight, but i think we'll pull it out. That line is interesting...we are going into chicago, but we are also the #1 team in the league. The people going on the bus hopefully will make a difference. see ya in chicago. UW-M - 80 UIC - 75

I'm pretty shocked by the odds against UWM. I'm also amazed at the 12 point spread I see for Detroit over YSU. I think Youngstown covers that spread, and maybe takes the win -- Detroit has been anything but impressive this year, and YSU is going to end up surprising somebody before the season is over, I think. Maybe you have to go with Detroit at Calahan, but I think 12 points is too much (not that I'm a betting man...)
Good luck again against the Flames!

It's a good thing we have the bus option tonight...I doubt I would be going otherwise with the snow forecast.
I do believe that the snow might scare away some Chicago fans as well.
If UWM can get on UIC fast, the game will be over pretty quickly. However, I think our team also has proven some staying power within the last 10 games that will help if things get close.
My line: UWM 87 UIC 77
GO MILWAUKEE!
Later, UWMfreak

I am also predicting a win. I think we will have a homecourt feeling with all of our fans down there and that will contribute to our win. I wont be there due to a class conflict but I hope you guys take over and they always have poor turn outs. My prediction is UWM 81 - UIC 73.

At last count I heard a couple days ago, it was three busses. If we can pull off three busses, wow, what a presence we can make at UIC's turf.

I want UWM to go 16 - 0 as most fans do, but the facts are that this might be our toughest road game. UWM has not hd the much luck playing @ UIC Pavilion. The last 5 games UWM played at the Pavilion: Last year they lost 102 - 92 02 = UWM lost 73 - 71 01 = UWM lost 112 - 106 00 = UWM lost to Butler in MCC Tournement 65 - 51 00 = UWM lost 81 - 75 When was the last time we won at the UIC Pavilion? Man I hope I am wrong, but i have a bad feeling that we are going to lose on some fluke shot or a "T" on Pearl or something crazy like that. My Perdiction is UIC 77 UWM 75 .................................man I hope I am wrong!!

Did you guys listen to the game? Do you think if Bruce would have been coaching in the second half we could've won, or was UIC's big run just too much

I'm not sure if I sould congradulate Kingsbury's multiple accurate predictions or if I should smash his future-seeing crystal ball. I really have nothing positive to say about tonight's outting at the Pav. I would think that we can take it as a learning experiece from many angles and apply it towards future success this season.

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy game. I was only able to listen to parts of the game. For those of you listening or at the game - did BP deserve the second T (BTW, I can't beleive I called that right - crazy stuff always happen @ UIC). All things being said, we still had a 10 point lead in the second half. To me, this loss is not that big - it is tough to go undefeated in conference. The game on Saturday will be huge, to give UWM a 2 game lead
