UWGB just pulled off a pretty good victory over Detroit, 53-52.
M Rhode - 17pts J Mendiburu - 14pts M King - 13pts
It's time to give UWGB a warm welcome to Milwaukee.
I just do not see this one being close. Much of the SBGC is planning on attending early...the game for us begins 1 hour before tipoff. UWGB has not played in a hostile environment this year and having an extremely loud student section and band could influence the game just as it did against UIC.
I expect big things again from McCants, Tucker and Page...but I think Milks could have a big day as well. If we can stop King in addition to their guards like our last showing...this could get very ugly for GB. Dylan Page did not have a great game in Part I...he'll be out Saturday to prove a point.
FIRE UP! GO MILWAUKEE!

Qouting UWM Freak: "Much of the SBGC is planning on attending early...the game for us begins 1 hour before tipoff."
The student section should take suggestions from the "Very Interesting Article" discussion and plan out some quick chants and target King and a couple others to really get in their heads.
See everyone at 7:00pm Saturday.

Will do...
Rhode is the main person I think that could change the out come of the upcoming game. We took him out last time and was unable to hit the 3. If he gets on fire we'll have a lot of problems to deal with.
King is definitely another person to get out of the game. BUT I do stress that students to do not do any thing too harsh on him and cross the line. Not that any player cannot take some harsh abuse, but this guy has not lived a normal life. Does any one have a a bio on him they've found on thet net? He has the most amazing life story, none of which is really uplifting. From what I know both of his parents have passed away and he was raised by a small Canadian town...or something to the extent. Pretty amazing to see how far he went for basketball under the circumstances he faced with.

He has also overcome some rather serious back issues/problems. Gotta hand it to him, he has persevered and done quite well for himself.

Just got off the phone with Jason Clark from athletics and he said he thinks as of yesterday there were around 3,300 tickets pre-sold; he'd expect around 2,000 students, and hope for 1,000 tickets to be sold today and tomorrow, plus walk up. 8-9,000 fans should be a very realistic crowd....
Keep spreading the word!
