Well, nice to see the trash talking back. I wouldnt have expected anything less from a game like this, especially nothing less from the intelligence level of a UIC fan.
Hopefully we will hear your stomping, or whatever that noise is that you make. Or that fantastic pregame lighting of a torch! (way to rip that one off from the olympics) Bring on the purple dinosaur. You will need to break out all the ticks to gain any respect
Be careful Panther fans, there is no joke, UIC's pav. is thuggish at best, we had some little 8 year old punch our bus window last year. I think there is a minimum 2 year jail sentence to be admitted to the place.

wow, who knew that someone from UIsh*tty would want to try and start talking, but you know safan your right that Barney thing with the flame is just wrong, it is a bit painful to watch IMO. but it will be fun to see what crap they have come up with this year to try and call that crap station that is the Pav "The Inferno" WTF?

Bus trips are available for nearly every game within the Midwest. This season we're also heading to Manhattan and Kansas through the UWM Alumni Association. We typically travel in good numbers.

i was impressed last year with how well we traveled. we basically took GB over. i'm not sure what the official count was but as a vocal presence we dominated the place. i hope that continues!

Jacksfan -- we have taken about 4-5 bus trips each of the past 2 years. Last year, there were trips available for games against UIC, Loyola, Valparaiso, and to the HL Semifinal game at Butler. I think there might have also been a bus to Green Bay but I didn't go because of the break. There were a similar number of busses the prior year.

How many bus trips do you guys have each year? How many fans are you expecting to come to the game tonight? Just curious..............by the way, you guys have had a heck of a schedule so far this year. You should definitely be ready for regular season play.

I'm not really sure how many people are coming tonight. I don't think there will be too many, just because it is a weekday, plus we have no bus trips lined up yet. I know there are a few sdsu grads on the message board from milwaukee - They are going. You probalby will not see too many fans tonight from SDSU. Usually though, SDSU fans do travel pretty well.
Good Luck tonight!

On the topic of the bus trips, I hope that in a way our efforts going to other schools sparks more support across the entire Horizon League.
I recall our first "SBGC Trip" to UIC 3 years ago. 9 of us overtook their arena. We then started getting support from the school and athletics (mostly because of the Pantherpride efforts!) to have funded bus trips. After going to more schools I think we're starting to see better turn outs at other schools since they know UWM is coming and will bring busses of STUDENT fans. And, in return, their athletics dept. have answered and upped efforts to get people involved and to away games. There's nothing worse than being out done on your home turf.

Just a quick update about the Bruce Is My Homeboy T-shirts. We will have another new order of shirts in in time for the UIC game. We will have them at the busses for $10 on Saturday about 30 min before the busses leave, and up until they leave. Anyone who wants a shirt can get one on saturday BEFORE the busses leave, or email bruceismyhomeboy@hotmail.com if they would like to arrange another pickup time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the busses do leave around 4pm right?
