Did anyone find a 'star' ranking for Kaylan?
Thanks

Has Walt Walters officially been released from his commitment to UWM. I noticed that in the Journal Sentinel it mentioned, "The Panthers still have one scholarship to offer and Jeter has indicated that he will try to sign an inside player." I believe without Walters the Panthers had 4 scholarships to offer. So far Jeter has signed two recruits, so shouldn't that mean that the Panthers have two scholarships left and not one?

so will he be released from his scholarship then? maybe that's why Young hasn't signed yet?

He will be released. That may be the reason we have not announced Young yet, although I do know his paperwork is in

I wish I could tell but unfortunately I cannot. Sorry
Walt is leaving to attend McCombs Junior College in Detroit. I personally feel sorry for the kid. He does not have anyone in his corner to help him make good choices.

I think UWM would have to break a number of NCAA rules in order to keep Waters academically eligible.
Too bad, because he seems a genuinely nice kid.

True and very sad.
Quite honestly, he should have never come here in the first place. Walt is one of those kids that should have taken his chances at an early draft (if possible), given his academic deficiencies. Hate to see kids fall through the cracks - he is definetely one of them.

I have not heard anything on Stoneburner since his visit, which supposedly went well. He seems like a nice kid, and we sure could use a presence on the inside. I will see what I can find out and get back to you all.

No he ended up not trying out. There was some confusion of weather he should try out for the team or come to UWM for summer classes. When his coaches heard he was contemplating going to summer school at UWM, they told him not to show up for tryouts.
