Well let’s analyze this argument: My source: An actual poll done by a university study published in a scholarly journal vs. Your source: Men's Health magazine poll conducted by using opinion poll questionnaires and 1 published author. I'm glad your UIC professors allowed you to do such thorough research. Next time why don’t you post the latest “facts” from the Enquirer!! Hold on here. It doesn't say anything about opinion polls. The criteria my list is based on has nothing to do with opinion...SAT scores, number of Nobel prize winners, number of universities in the area, bachelor's degrees per capita. Granted, there has to be some estimation here, but I'm sure there is also estimation in yours. And by the way, you're bashing mine, yet supporting a smart city being determined by the number of libraries and the number of newspapers circulated? I'd have to say your criteria is much weaker. I mean, number of booksellers? So, if I write a series of books, like "How to drop a deuce on a UWM fan's head," would I really be contributing to the intelligence of my city? Funny thing is, the top 10 of my list is very similar to the one you provided (other cities were revealed at other sites). Maybe if any UWM profs helped with that study, they can get a nice job with Men's Health...

I disagree I think that, that criteria is very relevant if you have more bookstores and wide newspaper circulation that means people can and do read, which is usually a good indicator of education of some sort. And if you did write a book you would be contributing to the intelligence of your city, by educating them on how to take the duece. It's upgrading their already limited skill sets even though the only s%$t would be coming from your mouth.
