Why don't you two wuss-bags run with me for the Storm the Bastille run? Thursday July 14th at 9pm. Or are you worried that an old man can run you into the ground?

Grandpa, I hate the French. I can't run for a country/culture that has only one war victory. And mind you that victory came during the revolution, only because their opponent was another frenchman.

This is great; you'll have to keep this board updated on the results for all of us not in the "know"
By the way I think's it's hilarious that you guys are talking about training for a 5K? It's really not that far even for chain smoking, beer drinking, brat eating, peoples.
Good luck to you all, I'll be training for the Hood to Coast Relay at the same time.

You spoke of a Milwaukee Panther 5K Race. There is now a run/walk scheduled for UWM.
Panther Prowl 10/16/2005
Run! Or walk in this premier event at UWM. It’s the Alumni Association’s first ever Panther Prowl, open to runners and walkers of all ages and levels.
Rain or shine, join us as we dash around our beautiful campus and gorgeous Upper Lake Park. It all culminates with a lively celebration in the UWM Union’s Ballroom, where participants and their families can enjoy complimentary food and beverages, live music, and the awarding of prizes for the Prowl’s most successful entrants. You’ll also be able to learn more about today’s UWM by strolling through a gallery of booths representing the University’s schools, colleges and special partners.
The best part? This event provides a monumental opportunity to provide support to our students. All net proceeds from this exciting new event will benefit scholarship programs for UWM students, both new and current.
U.S. Bank is the presenting sponsor for Panther Prowl.
Visit this Alumni Association Web site soon for full details, or watch your e-mail box for more information. If you have any questions, please contact us in the Alumni Association Office:
