Wondering how the A.J. McKee visit went. 🤞 Guess it went alright If you guys have X/Twitter, go show AJ some love. He’s going to be a big piece of our 2024-2025 March Madness push whether or not BJ stays.

Think we need another big now correct? Id like to have a big center to anchor downlow and grab boards. If Freeman stays i think it'll be the best shot UWM has at winning the horizon in a long time. I need a UWGB vs UWM 1/2 as a tournament championship game. Im a fan of all Wisconsin schools so dont mind me hoping Green Bay to do well.

I reserve my excitement about new recruits until I see how they mesh with the team once the season starts. However, I love the recruiting focus on grit and toughness. We can never get enough of that!

I’m not sure the coaches see center as a huge need. As long as you root for us when we play GB 😉

Welcome AJ! Super stoked to have you. Shot 39% from 3 last year. Down this year, but Queens wasn’t nearly as good, so I’m guessing they keyed on him more. He should find open looks on this team with Fields in the post, and all our players who can drive to the basket. Appears to be a great all around player.

Should BJ leave, his scoring can be made up between an increase in Pratt's usage and McKee.
We still need a primary ball handler. Preferably two in case BJ leaves. I really hope if Elijah stays, he works on making his distribution to other scorers as a priority. He is so much better when he puts others scoring ahead of himself. He's also generally scores more efficiently then as well.
You guys may not see the post as a priority but I do. We were exposed defensively against Townsend in the Final. You can say "well Duffy was hurt," and I will respond with "that's why we need more guys." You have to be 2-3 deep everywhere, for competition and insurance. The injuries are why we didn't win the regular season title.

Should BJ leave, his scoring can be made up between an increase in Pratt's usage and McKee. If Riek's brief showing last year was any indication, he could be a scary option off the bench this coming season. Some more defensive-minded players are going to be big for us, especially inside. The last big piece we really need is a good ball-handler & passer. With the right guy at the point controlling the offense, that could be the catalyst we need. Elijah COULD be that guy, but he did make too many passes where there wasn't even a remote reason to attempt that pass.

I highly doubt another real point guard will be brought in this offseason that is expected to play a lot. Lundy seems to believe in his own guys and their development almost to a fault. Last season only 1 guard was brought in to help out EJ with running the point. I tend to think with getting McKee that we may be done and that Lundy trusts the 2 returnees and McKee to run the show.
