I know a lot of the credit will go to B.J. Freeman, and rightfully so. He had an excellent second half and his drives to the basket were key to our victory.
But how about that Faizon Fields? He was somebody most (if not all of us) were at least somewhat down on earlier this year, and he has been incredible in the second half of the season. Easily our most improved player this year. 16 points and 16 rebounds tonight is a crazy line. I'm so happy he has proven so many of us wrong!

B.J. has a program-record 137 points in the Horizon League Tournament and the Panthers are now 27-15 in the tourney since 2003. All this administrative insanity and still the beat goes on!!

I watched the game on ESPN, the whole time imagining what this thread was looking like. By and large I was right.

Weathered the storm in the first half and didn't stop attacking the paint even though we couldnt get calls in the first half. Fields was a beast in the second. BJ taketh in the first half and giveth in the second. Kind of a microcosm of his career here in one game. Bart deserves alot of credit for going to two bigs in the second half, it was a big move to realize Ham couldnt play in this game and he put wilson or duffy in with fields and we dominated the glass because of it. KP and EJ were both solid and played within themselves and Pratt hit just enough shots in the first half to keep contact. The big moment of the game was cutting the bleeding by holding NKU to 38 at half for like 4 minutes. One more game boys. I know most of you hate Green Bay, but Oakland is the team that drives me up a wall. Their coach is a dbag. Goelke used his magic up and will likely normalize to the 36 percent shooter he is later today. We had way less fans tonight and likely will again tomorrow. Time to win this f***ing league and not give it back.

I’m not going to, but I’m close to complaining about the refs.. Refs were god awful in the first 10 minutes, we were attacking the rack and getting held and hand checked all half. Once we got that call it was game over. I NEVER complain about the refs but they didn't reward our attacking and luckily we kept at them.

Too often teams think they need to shoot a team out of the zone and hit shots from the outside. When in reality you beat a zone by attacking the gaps off the dribbling and crashing the class. That’s exactly what Milwaukee did the 2nd half. BJ was relentless going to the hoop and even his misses set the tone and gave us a chance for a board. Fields was just incredible inside the whole 2ndl half.

It’s funny how much this announcer is pulling for an NKU comeback. I wonder if it’s policy to have the broadcast team know as little as possible about the participants so as to insist on making the same points over and over and over again. I lost track of the number of times they pointed out how many times NKU had been in the tournament semifinals in the recent past. And though they had covered the quarterfinal win over Green Bay, they seemed largely unaware of the Panther tendency to start slow and take control in the second half.

Two straight 20 win seasons!!!
I was thinking at some point BJ was going to have to take charge and say enough of this you know what and that dunk stated every one of those words; I don't want to harp on the officiating especially what should've been basket interference (that could've been huge had the Panthers been leading by a smaller margin at the time) though I'm glad when Freeman was getting to the rim he was getting most of those 'touch' foul calls that are often called in the pros; I was thinking he was not going to be quiet for long and when he got an And 1 and had those evil eyes you knew it was on!
Fields was a BEAST on both ends of the floor and even Duffy, Franklin and Wilson provided some spark as well on the defensive end. As really good as that Robinson was on their end he missed some good looks which you have to credit the aforementioned Panthers for ..
Overall this could've easily been one of those games where they could've stayed behind though I was thinking to myself as long as they could keep it under 10 by half they would have a chance. Most programs can't go 10-11 deep which is really a factor should more than one guy get in foul trouble. I am so glad that Warrick didn't get going for them like Robinson did otherwise I'm sure it would've been a different outcome though a win is a win especially this time of the year!

What a game. So glad I was here to experience it.
Like Jimmy said on Twitter, the NKU fans were great sports all game. Cant say that about many teams in the HL.
Faizon continues to play his tail off and BJ was an unstoppable force in the second half. Let’s beat Oakland tomorrow and party like we’ve never done before. Go Panthers
