Perhaps this is even more reason not to play games at the K. The confines are too cozy. What in the world happened in the lobby? You guys need to learn you can't confront refs at all. Did you not leave your seat and walk down to the scorers table? How did you not learn after being tossed last year for literally the same thing. Last year my boy had to mute scott warras call because you were so loud on the call. Was is a weak tech sure, but let the coach deal with that. Try cheering the team on in a positive way. Not once have I heard your loud ass voice yell something positive to a player on our team.

Seriously, I think that there are multiple sides to the story today, which I understand was drowned out or muted on the broadcast. But it could be said with some certainly that the refs, who seemed to make some out-of-position calls, had rabbit ears. Still, we do have a responsibility as fans to not get too involved with the proceedings. After all, remember what happened to Cosmo Kramer at the Knicks-Pacers game.

Funny how you say I don't say anything positive about the team when you're one of the first out of the gate to talk about the worst of this team after a loss. I'm one of the first to high-five and shake hands with the players after a game at the Arena, first to applaud them when they come to Goolsby's.

Whataboutism about what I post on this board to like 30 people is a hilarious thing to bring up. You used to ride JSP harder then anyone during PBS's final year. Yelling at him calling him soft and what not. That dude would smash you into dust if he wanted too. Coming from a dude who can't even dribble a ball its not surprising your only basketball takes end up being yelling about the refs. Try to slow down and watch the game without being mad about the refs for once and you might learn something about the game.

I still have never heard your loud ass voice used for anything other then berating the refs. Its embarrassing to the university. Be a fan not a fanatic.

Still, we do have a responsibility as fans to not get too involved with the proceedings. After all, remember what happened to Cosmo Kramer at the Knicks-Pacers game. None of this "Khaos at the Klotche '24" was evident while watching the game at home. Crowd audio on Panther video streams typically is minimal and the limited amount of cameras rarely show the crowd. Today was no exception. Scott Warras did not mention the apparent passion in today's crowd and it was not a topic in Bart's postgame radio interview. Bart did say after the game that the refs told him they were managing the game with "zero tolerance." I'm guessing this concept also applies to anyone in the crowd, especially if there is already an established history.

UWM sets season high in assists in beating IUPUI for second straight victory Todd Rosiak Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
The UW-Milwaukee Panthers continue to play without a true point guard.
But the way they shared and took care of the basketball on Sunday afternoon, one would have never known.
UWM racked up a season-best 24 assists on 34 baskets while committing only eight turnovers – their fewest in over two months – to set the stage for an 87-67 victory over IUPUI at the Klotsche Center.
Faizon Fields, BJ Freeman and Erik Pratt scored 16 points apiece to lead a balanced offensive effort while Freeman dished out six assists and Pratt and Elijah Jamison had five each for the Panthers (12-11 overall, 7-5 Horizon League), who won their second straight game in advance of a huge three-game road swing.
"We were really good sharing the ball," said coach Bart Lundy, whose team was forced to pivot when incoming transfer Pierce Spencer, projected to be the starter at the point, suffered a career-ending knee injury before the season even began.
"And the eight turnovers is huge for us. That's not always the case. If we can continue to take care of the ball and share it like that, we've just got to hold on defensively."
The Panthers did a nice job again on that end as well by limiting IUPUI (6-19, 2-12) to just 33.3% shooting in the decisive final 20 minutes and 36.7% for the game, marking the fourth straight time they've held an opponent to under 39% from the floor.
Neither team played particularly well in the first half as UWM opened a 35-30 halftime lead. The Panthers scored 12 points off 10 Jaguars turnovers but otherwise were out-shot both from the field and at the free-throw line as well as out-rebounded.
A quick 10-0 run early in the second half enabled the Panthers to open their lead up to 14 at 50-36, and they weren't seriously threatened the rest of the way.
What had been something of a "junked-up" game early, as Lundy called it, got even uglier late as UWM was whistled for four technical fouls. Lundy was the recipient of one in the wake of a suspect call when Langston Wilson was hit up for what was ruled excessive hanging on the rim after one of his dunks.
"I think our guys got frustrated," Lundy said. All told IUPUI hit 21 of 29 free throws compared to UWM's 11-for-18 effort, with both teams combining for 36 total fouls and five technicals.
"They thought there should have been a few more calls. Whether that's true or not, I'll have to go back and watch film. And we were playing zone on the other end (in the first half), but they shot a lot more free throws than we did.
"I thought the frustration from our guys kind of bled out in the second half."
Fields, the Panthers' 6-foot-10 center, continued his strong play with his third double-double in four games as he finished with 12 rebounds – including eight offensive – in 27 minutes off the bench.
He's also the first UWM player to pull down double-digit rebounds in three straight games since Bryce Nze in the 2017-2018 season.
"We recruited him more on what he did in junior college," Lundy said of the junior, who transferred in from Old Dominion in the offseason. "I think he came out of Old Dominion with a kind of a low confidence level about his game. I think he knew he could do it, but he hadn't done it in a while. And it's taken him a bit, but he's playing really well.
"And, he's played with a fairly injured hand. That left hand is pretty banged up. So, to still go out and go get offensive rebounds and play tough inside, that shows the grit that he's playing with. When we get this Faizon, it makes us a whole different team."
Also on the injury front, Lundy is hopeful sophomore wing Aaron Franklin will be back relatively soon. He hasn't played since Dec. 22 after fracturing his wrist in practice.
"We'll know more this week; he's got a doctor's appointment," he said. "Right now, I think the third week of February is what they're thinking. The hope is that's moved up a bit, but he would give us a big infusion of toughness and rebounding if we can get him back."
Up next for UWM is its first meeting of the season with Youngstown State, which is a game out of first place in the Horizon League standings at 9-4 (17-7 overall), with games at Robert Morris and Cleveland State to follow.
"I told the team when the schedule came out that it didn't take a genius to circle these three road games as a pivotal time," Lundy said. "And if we can have any success on this road trip, we come back and we've got four home games and one road game left -- very favorable -- for the final five games.
"But a lot is going to pivot on this road trip."

Funny how you say I don't say anything positive about the team when you're one of the first out of the gate to talk about the worst of this team after a loss. I'm one of the first to high-five and shake hands with the players after a game at the Arena, first to applaud them when they come to Goolsby's. There's a big difference between him complaining about the team on a message board and you getting sh*tty in front of 1,000 people where everyone can see you, hear what you're saying and see you wildly gesticulating. You stood next to me or near me for years in the student section. You know, for a fact, that I've said a lot worse stuff than you've ever said. I haven't, you know, demonstrably flipped off a ref during a game, but as far as the words that have come out of our mouths, I've definitely got you beat on the all-time list of crude language. Yet I've never been kicked out of a game. Not once. You know why? Because I know how to pick my spots. I distinguish between the comments I make for people to laugh at and the comments I make to get under the skin of opposing players or coaches. I had Tracy Dildy yelling that he was going to "come over to the student section and cut my f***ing throat" and I baited him into it in a way where the refs - and UWM officials for that matter - had no idea what I had said to the guy, but they caught him and he got in trouble. And in that instance I hadn't really said anything bad, I just hit him right in his feelings. I also stopped saying the really sh*tty things when I was 23 years old, because there's a time for it and it's long before your mid-thirties. And it's all in good fun. That kid at the end of the IUPUI bench who made a crack about me being fat to his teammate so I mercilessly mocked him for several minutes? We had a laugh about it outside as we were leaving the KC. You can't take any of this stuff personally. Those refs were soft but they're also, you know, human beings. I agree with most here that what you did today was not truly crossing the line. It was clear you were doing the nose-pinching "you stink" gesture and that's pretty PG-Rated by most standards. I think where you got yourself tossed is by getting out of your seat, going to half court and acting a fool. You let these games affect you in such a way that you're guaranteed to fly off the handle and honestly, we were over it when we were students. We're now closer to 40 than 30. Despite today being less obnoxious than last season's ouster, you still need to pump the brakes. People in the past have requested to change their season tickets midseason because they don't want to sit near you. You've been told to tone it down by multiple officials from the university, and I've tried to help put things into perspective for you so you don't go overboard. I'm just not going to try anymore. Given your reactions to getting bounced today I don't think you've learned anything, and that's disappointing. All kidding aside, I agree. I fear that we have become a marked team and fan base. Probably. The refs I've spoken with in the past know our crowd is quicker to jump on them than others.

Backing up JSP is crazy talk LMFAOOO I just said he was limited but it doesn’t excuse our own fans like Tyler calling him sh*t like soft at the top of his lungs. I never once have yelled negative sh*t about our players at the games. It’s tacky and not productive. Have we had bad players sure but i imagine they are just as hard on themselves and don’t need some goon in the crowd screaming at them. Diehard or not support the team at the games. It’s just a basketball game. My happiness isn’t derived from the wins and losses it’s just all part of the fan experience. I’ve been a bucks and Panther fan for almost my entire life seem plenty of sh*tty hoops but I’m not gonna yell at players like I could do better. Doesn’t change the fact that “soft” jsp would bully any of us like we were little kids. Was he a good mid major player of course not but he would contribute on this team no doubt. And he always played hard. Think I care what anyone has to say about me here most of y’all don’t even have basketball takes outside of hurrdurr the refs sucked.

If you think Milwaukee crowd's are bad with complaining, you have never experienced the Satin Jackets or even Valpo crowds back in the day. But, I do agree the getting in the refs face is way too much as a fan.
Anyways, that was a solid win (T's aside). Hoping we can go into YSU and steal one on the road.
