Depressing loss. Won’t help our attendance numbers once they return from the trip No. Losing to Detroit won't help attendance. Yeah, a win would have been nice and it was attainable, but it was still a pretty admirable effort against one of the tougher teams in the conference in one of the tougher places to play.

If anything this game might sell the Oakland game, Alittle rivalry forming with them and their trash ass court. I got a f***ing headache from that sh*t. Looks like a jackson pollack of dumps.

Depressing loss. Won’t help our attendance numbers once they return from the trip Really? We were down the entire game and fought back to have a chance to tie late. We arent winning the conference regular season but have to hope we can pull it together late Feb and March thats when we need to be at our best. Yes. I expect to win every time we play. Obviously it won’t happen but that’s a team you should beat.

I wish we could have got to OT and see if we could give that foul record a shot lol. Were we that close to it? I remember a 3OT game against Western Michigan a few years back where I think we were down to our last 5 scholarship players who didn’t foul out.

Had a good look to tie late and couldnt hit it. Need to clean up the self inflicted mental mistakes. I can live with physical mistakes but the mental ones drive me crazy.

The dumb turnovers where you can see the defender overplaying and don’t pass fake annoy the crap out of me. Also doesn’t help when your point guard shoots 4-13.

If the refs would have kept calling the same game, I bet we would have seen Ham and Vinko by 3 OTs

In his last 5 games EJ is 16 for 53 from the field. That is a problem.

The Panthers had 41 fouls in that game. DeAndre Abram, TeJon Lucas, Wil Sessoms, C.J. Wilbourn, Amir Allen, and Courtney Brown Jr. all fouled out. Bobby Arthur Williams was out, and we ended the game with our five remaining scholarship players: Harrison Henderson (3 fouls), Arturro Bingham (3 fouls), Darius Roy (1 foul), Shae Mitchell (0 fouls), and Josh Thomas (4 fouls). The Panthers *only* had 26 fouls tonight.

This team can finish top 4 in the league I don’t disagree. They’re 2-2 so far, and they are a much different team than before the Markeith unpleasantness. They didn’t shoot particularly well from 3 tonight, and none of our big 3 had a great game, and they still came within 5 at the home arena of one of the top teams in the league. Beat Detroit o this weekend and then take care of business against the other good and average teams in the conference.

This team can finish top 4 in the league I’ve got a copy cat now 😂😂😂 You've finally made it, although we haven't heard from my doppelganger @fatsackofsh*t for awhile In his last 5 games EJ is 16 for 53 from the field. That is a problem. I'm also of the mind that it is less about his shot and more about his shot selection. He makes some pretty sketchy decisions on when to take shots. For all the mentions of BJ having a "bad" game, he was 50% from the field. KP is clearly on a roll right now. I was pleased with Langston and Fields tonight offensively, I just can't help but think that the lineup with the two of them on the court is our worst post combination. Both of them can be deadly effective, but I feel like they're better matched with Duffy or Simeon. If I were setting our post rotation, I'd have Duffy either alone or with Fields/Wilson, Simeon with either Fields/Wilson, or the very occasional Simeon/Fields/Wilson alone for a short stretch. Shot selection is paramount for teams who look to score as much as we do. If EJ was going to be the guy who attempted the most shots in a game this weekend, I'd prefer it to have been against Detroit. One thing I want to point out is that they are doing a hell of a job spreading the ball around. EJ had 13 attempts, but Pratt/Freeman/Fields each had 10 and Pullian had 9. You flip EJ and Pullian's attempts and we probably win this game easily. That's not a knock on EJ per se, I just would like him to focus on distribution a little more. It will probably have the benefit of opening up his shots.
