We have to get Bart out to a Bucks game very soon and then a Brewers game. Strike while the iron is hot and keep striking.

Black and Gold Network interview by Scott Warras. First half is mostly what we have heard before but the second half expands on interaction with PBJ, recruiting, scheduling and message to fans. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZYP_fSg3gE

Thanks for the link. I listen live this morning. So, at the 9:10 minute mark about next years roster was very interesting. Thoughts? He pretty much made it clear he had zero interest in retaining Gholston and Lathon. I'm interested in who he brings in and I hope Learic Davis is one of them.

Not much to glean from this other than what we already knew or speculated. The players who took 56% of the shots, Gholston, JT, Lathon and PBJ when he did play, will not be back. We need to be patient to see what the roster will look like going into the season. I'm excited to see what he can do with players like Newby, Hanc*** and Browning.

Scott, who's a very nice man, is getting better by the year.

Agree....I have evolved from a bit of a skeptic with him to an actual fan who enjoys his broadcasts and pretty much everything he does sports wise in radio.

I've always been a Scott Warras guy. Me too. I have always enjoyed that Scott takes the game seriously, but himself not too seriously. I was sorry when Scott moved over to men's basketball. Matt Menzel is growing on me, though.

Scott, who's a very nice man, is getting better by the year. I agree. I still miss Bill Johnson, as his calls were entertaining and he could be unfiltered at times (which is why he isn’t announcing anymore). But Scott Warras does a really good job too, and he’s getting better.

I like Bart Lundy telling Drew and KB that the games are suppose to be entertainment for the fans!

The first post and the one before this, I took out the tweet and put just put the link with the each radio show. Should make things fast for those to find on the radio interviews.
As for the Drew & KB, in something new I heard. He wants picture on a wall for all the pro's he coached. Said, it's good for recruiting. That would be neat to see! I like the idea.

I know that these interviews will slow down at some point, but one thing I remember when I was in high school was listening to sports talk radio and Pearl would literally call in to shows and sell the program. I hope Lundy enjoys that part of the job, because we could use it now and as the spring and summer drag on.
The first two weeks of the fall semester are exceedingly important at getting the student body excited for basketball.
