Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest ever to play the game of football. I would love to see him continue as the QB for the Packers as long as he wants to play.
Aaron Rodgers is also a world-class prima donna, who thinks he should be the General Manager of the team, apparently. The Packers have Brian Gutekunst in that role, and given their performance during Gutekunst's tenure, I see no reason for him to leave the position.

being a prima donna kinda comes with the position. Favre was very similar especially in his final seasons with Green Bay. at least Rodgers hasnt pulled the ' should i keep playing?' routine that brett did. Yet.

I honestly don’t see a problem with Rodgers’ request to be part of the conversation. He’s proven to have been the only thing keeping that team competitive for over a decade and they can’t even give him the time of day to share his thoughts on roster management? Is it ultimately ego stroking? Yes. Is that what happens in pro sports? Yes. Did the Packers have to stroke Favre’s ego? Yes. The fact Gutekunst spends more time pandering to a group of people who were dumb enough to buy a worthless piece of paper than conversing with their HOF QB shows how egotistical they also are.
Bruce Arians told Tom Brady to scout the WRs in this past draft and come back back with 5-6 suggestions. Brady gave them his list and Tampa drafted none of them. Brady also requested tall WRs. The only WR drafted was 5-10. The number of Fs given by the front office? Zero.
If the argument is “Gutekunst & company have better things to do”, my response is “do they?”. Coaches, scouts and front office staff talk to countless people outside of the organization throughout the year. It’s commonplace in the postseason for non-playoff bound coaches to scout a team in the playoffs because of a request from a friend of theirs on a playoff bound team. For the draft, the amount of research that goes into a player’s character can be extensive. Gutekunst and company can take the time to interview a prospect’s entire high school coaching staff but can’t take one hour to talk to Rodgers? Why again?

Packers down 17-0 late in the first half. A poor start to say the least

Fingers crossed it's in the next couple weeks!

Marino is currently 6th (Phillip Rivers is 5th with 421), but Rodgers could pass them both in the next game if he throws 6 TDs. with touchdowns becoming more plentiful and a longer 17 game season, 500 TD passes will become what 300 TDs passes used to be- the exclusive club. Matt Stafford (287) and Russell Wilson (273) will reach 300 TDs this season, barring injury, they'll be the 13th and 14th QBs ever to do so. Big Ben will get to 400 (he has 398) in his next game, the 8th QB ever to get there. All of the 400 club are HOFers or will be.

Packers blow a 17-0 lead but Rodgers drives into FG range, Crosby knocks it through from 51 and the Packers escape with a 30-28 win to move to 2-1 on the season.
