Good to see Tony Jones still wearing terrible suits.

Game shouldn't of been this close but a W is a W. Shout out to Baldwin for learning his lesson and fouling while up 3. Te'jon continues to be one of the best players in the HL, nobody I trust more to have the ball in their hands at the end of a game.

My24 presumably not prepared for the possibility of a game lasting over 2 hours. As soon as 8:00 hit, Murdoch Mysteries went on screen with 15 seconds remaining in the game. Then they went to commercial break, which was interrupted by a message indicating "Due to the length of the previous program, we now begin our program in process." Which was not accurate, it was starting right on time (to the detriment of the 5 of us trying to watch the game). So then someone woke up at the station and put the game back on with 7 seconds left, and it stayed on until the game ended. Murdoch Mysteries came on for about 30 seconds, then they put a clip of the postgame summary on screen for about 5 seconds. Then back to Murdoch Mysteries. Outstanding job all around.

As someone else said, the state of the team relative to the rest of the league is nowhere near as concerning as the state of the program. There were actually some nice coaching maneuvers in this game by PBS, who ultimately got the better of Mr. Motor City Madness! Meanwhile, to call that crowd sparse would be a colossal understatement. Were there even 500 people on hand? For tonight, I'll just be happy with the victory and a league record above .500.

There was way more than Thursday night. East side look the same. West side was doubled.

"Great win for our guys tonight," head coach Pat Baldwin said. "They really fought for this win. We took an early punch from Oakland and then went on a 21-4 run to seemingly take control of the game. Great effort by our guys, they did an unbelievable job just continuing to fight and play hard."
"At the end, we made the free throws that we needed to and executed all of the things that we had talked about," Baldwin said. "This was a great win for our guys, I am happy for them."
"We have to protect home court when we get an opportunity and we are looking forward to try and validate a little bit of success at home when we go on the road," Baldwin said. "I want them to enjoy this one and we're going to get back to work on Monday."
