Enjoyed the program last night. Scott Warris does a nice job, well prepared. Like the radio broadcasts too. Have warmed up to him. Does not have the most polished delivery and accent borders on Fargo like but have become used to that .

As for the show, it's abundantly clear that both the men's and women's teams are "giving great effort, showing some signs of improvement and having a ton of fun!"

As for the show, it's abundantly clear that both the men's and women's teams are "giving great effort, showing some signs of improvement and having a ton of fun!" I cringe when I hear that type of boilerplate coach's speak. Unfortunately, I've heard it way too much from Coach Baldwin. I'm surprised he did not add that they are showing "fight" as well. I enjoy a coach who is not so sensitive about his players. Dan Majerle, for example, has been heard after a bad game publicly saying something like "if these guys don't buy in and don't start getting with the program they can go play for somebody else." Sometimes his face turns red and veins visibly show from his neck when he says something like that. His passion for winning is clearly evident. Fans can relate to this type of approach. It is much more entertaining and if done right, can be enduring. I do not think it hurts the psyche of the players. If it works in WWE, why not in college basketball?

TBF when Thunder Dan does it, he's absolutely throwing his players under the bus because it's obvious he's in no position to send blame elsewhere I'd feel the same way about Baldwin if he did that.
