WUWM is a news radio station that provides the area’s only unbiased news programming. Putting Panther games on it would have been a no-go when we were a committed, successful D1 program. Doing it now would be utterly absurd. The area has multiple sports and entertainment radio stations whose audiences are not large to begin with. The fact we can’t generate enough interest or sponsorships to do a deal with one of those stations is a further indictment of our administration. By the way, the idea that most people listen to radio over the internet is truly nuts. Yes, that’s a developing trend, but it’s stull a minor fraction of listenership. UWM basketball: No TV. No radio. No fans. No hope. If I were a betting man, I would bet the house that the number of people listening to NPR (unbiased... lmao!) at 7pm on a given night is even lower than the actual attendance at Panther Arena. Also, while I'm here, I would like to point out the total fallacy stated by Pounce Needs Pals that radio was pulled during the Jeter era. Games were on 1130 until this season started. We all know when interest in this program truly began cratering... When did I say radio was pulled 5 years ago. That is news to me. Lol. I just said it was talked about 5 years ago as many were just streaming the radio boardcast on the IHeart App. At that time I was surprised in the number. It was by a couple of the good members who are no longer at the University.

Green Bay is 7-10 overall and 2-2 in conference after beating Northern Kentucky (73-59) and UIC (85-71), while falling at Wright State (90-84) and against IUPUI (93-78)
Saturday's game will be the 65th meeting between the in-state rivals and Green Bay holds a 39-25 edge in the all-time series (34-25 at the NCAA DI level) that dates back to 1971.

A similar storm is expected to hit Green Bay on Saturday night too.

Couldn't they have just moved the game up one night in order to beat the storm?

At this point either the team has to stay overnight in the Fox Valley area or the game has to be moved up to the early afternoon. Green Bay could end up with less snow but we’re almost guaranteed to get hit hard.

Couldn't they have just moved the game up one night in order to beat the storm? Maybe. I think everyone but the teams would be the hard part to make that work.

Let's do something with the kids in mind for a change.

Please don't go out unless you absolutely need to, folks. Use your brains out there!

Well, we had SEVERAL hours of inactivity down here but are now 90 minutes away from a MAJOR event. My buddy in Sheboygan said they're about to get ROCKED! Nicely done, everyone! Reason once again takes a beating!

Reason once again takes a beating! Yup, game could have been over already. Looks like more snow is moving in now for the rest of the night in the MKE area.
