Panthers win 61-52 in a ugly game. Still a win is a win

I thought we looked better than against Western Michigan. Good win.

17 turnovers was an issue. Nice seeing the Panthers played ahead for the whole game.

First Division 1 win in nearly 10 months (Jan. 19 was the last). Te'Jon was just a lot better than everyone else on the court tonight ... and J.T. was easily the second-best player. UMKC is building, but had a nice little student turnout.

When the Panthers are on their game, they’re really good. The Panthers appeared to be the significantly better team tonight, except for the turnovers.

It can't be overlooked what Wil is bringing to the team. Sessoms had 12 points and six rebounds.

I’ll admit I don’t know the schedule off the top of my head but I did know we played last night and that we play Kansas as some point in the schedule. I looked up last nights score and saw that we beat a team with Kansas in their name and got real excited for a brief moment.

I shared my opinions previously on how I thought this team would look, and I don't wanna speak to soon on this but I really do like our team this year. 3 guys capable of scoring in double figures every game, and our bigs have looked better in each game so far this year, even with some struggles shooting the ball both from the field and free throw line. Love the depth and the defensive intensity, which has been my favorite part about this team so far. Hope they can continue this strong play moving forward and hopefully PB continues to grow as a coach and leader of young men.

Kudos to the video folks who put together the highlights after every game. They do a great job! Always fun to go back and watch.
