Cleveland State 75, Fort Wayne 72 I had that game on one of my many screens. PFW lead most of the way, untill the end. Damm.

Cleveland State 75, Fort Wayne 72 How about Drew Lowder expressing his inner BJ Freeman by getting into it with the PFW student section? Oh, and have I mentioned the PFW student section is on the sidelines across from the visitor bench? They had approximately 20 students in the first two rows of it who were standing and really into the game, and about 30 more in rows behind them that were generally sitting and more laid back. This was the typical sparsely attended PFW game in cavernous Allen Memorial Coliseum, but the student section gave the atmosphere at least some pizzaz. I wonder how many of the 50 students attend because the preferential seating makes for more of a VIP experience. Milwaukee should do this as a no-cost initiative to encourage student participation and enhance the atmosphere. The equivalent location in Panther Arena is 209. It sure beats grab'n'go free pizza and disrespecting students by hiding them in obstructed view seats several feet behind the baseline.

We MIGHT have had 35-40 students at our most recent home game shoved into the north end zone stands. Sad!

Big game in the Horizon tonight. CSU @ NKU. I believe we want CSU to win due to us holding the 2-0 tiebreaker over them. I'll be watching on espn+ tonight.

We split with NKU. We are still in very good shape for a top 4. Handing YSU a loss Friday would go a long way. WSU does not have an easy schedule. GB is far from safe, as they have the toughest remaining schedule of any horizon team going into their last 4 games. Would be awesome to play GB at home with the winner getting a top 4.

NKU wins by 2. Enaruna missed a shot at the rim to tie. Drew Lowder still stinks.

Tensions flared in the last minute of IUPUI's game against NKU. It went on for a while and included a shouting match between Jalen Counter and someone in the crowd. We will see if he will be suspended for the game against the Panthers Wednesday.

Final week of regular season play. I assume with a lot of luck we can be slotted 4. More likely 5 or 6. Where are my excel nerds with the projections and bracketology for the HL tournament.

Final week of regular season play. I assume with a lot of luck we can be slotted 4. More likely 5 or 6. Where are my excel nerds with the projections and bracketology for the HL tournament. Horizon League Tournament? Nerd?!? Excel?!?!? I feel like I've seen my Bat Signal. I did put together an Excel spreadsheet that can be used to project the rest of the season. Horizon League 2024 Scenarios.xlsm (34.21 KB) It's not totally user friendly, so I have some instructions on how to use this. The current standings for the Horizon League can be found in Cells E1 through G13 of the "Standings" tab. Below the standings, I have all the remaining games listed. Put an "X" next to the team you are picking to win in the simulation for each game. In doing so, the "Projected" standings (Cells I3 through L13) will be updated. Once all the winners are selected, the projected standings should be complete with all 20 games for all 20 teams. I put a macro in the spreadsheet that puts the teams in order based on their projected win percentage (from highest to lowest), but it doesn't take into account tie breakers. If there is a tie in the Projected standings, there will be an * in the column labeled "Tie". If you want to break ties, you can go to the Tie Breakers tab. In the blue cells on the first table under "1st Tie Breaker: Head to Head Record", enter all of the teams that are tied. I added a second table so that multiple ties can be reviewed at the same time. The gray tables below the initial tables show the head-to-head records of each of the tied teams. If there is still a tie after the first tie breaker, then you can go to the 2nd tie breaker and enter the teams for which a tie needs to be broken. The first column will show their number of wins against the 1st place team. The second column will show their number of wins against the 2nd place team, and so on. If the tie is broken in the first column, then the remaining columns will not be needed. If not, you can go to the second column. And you can keep going until the tie is actually broken. I tried to incorporate the tie breakers into the macro to sort the standings by projected record, but it kind of messed up the formulas needed for it to work. There may be a fix to this, but I haven't gotten to it yet (and I'm not sure I will). I hope this helps and can try to answer any questions on how it works.

NKU -2 at RMU. Lower than I expected. RMU has no reason to care besides Sr. Night. Hope they bring it for our sake. Toole might be coaching for his job too.
