right now we are in the 8th and last spot in the Conference tourney. Squarely on the conference "Bubble" if you will. the good news is the rest of the conference, outside of Northern Kentucky is so bunched up right now that a decent winning streak would get us right back in the thick of things. Luckily our next two opponents are the dregs of the league, YSU and Cleveland State, before hosting Detroit and Oakland at home. win all 4 and we'll be in pretty good shape.northern Kentucky is the only guaranteed L on our remaining schedule, all the others should be winnable

"Not one of our better defensive efforts," Baldwin said. "If you shoot close to 50 percent from the field, I would take that any day. But to give up close to 60 percent … it wasn't a good night defensively for us."
"I think what set the tone for us was missing those free throws early," Baldwin said. "We got to the foul line, which we wanted to do, and just could not capitalize on it.
"There were a lot of missed opportunities, especially at the foul line," Baldwin said. "And then to give the ball back to them where they converted on the other end in transition."

Going into this five game roadtrip I was hoping for two wins to return home at .500 in the conference. Fortunately, the two weakest conference opponents remain to be played, so a 2-3 roadtrip is still a good possibility.
The new conference tournament format places more importance than ever on the latter stages of the regular season for the bottom feeders. I'm looking forward to seeing how the depth-deprived Panthers do down the stretch.

So, the Panthers are .5 games ahead of YSU for the 8th spot and one game back of GB and UIC in a tie for 6th. This trip will be huge for Milwaukee's chances at making the HL Tourney.

Any tiebreaker with Green Bay the Panthers lose because of the sweep. That is why this Thursday game at Youngstown is huge.
